There are now more than 5,000+ students, studying at four campuses across Suffolk, Bury St. Edmunds, Gt. Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Ipswich. Academic departments span the humanities, social sciences, nursing and mid-wifery, business management and event management. 3 UCS Re-Freshers Fair is a must if you want to interact with the student market! Our Freshers and Re-Freshers fair are ideal opportunities for you to interact with the student market and get face-to-face with your potential new customers. This is a crucial time to establish awareness, establish a database and build lasting relationships at the beginning of a new, independent student life. 4 requirements. Freshers Passports (not available for re-freshers week) The Freshers passport is a guide to all that happens in Freshers Week. It is a fantastic way to advertise your business especially if you can t make the Freshers Fair. Use discount vouchers, capture addresses, why not do a free raffle? Whatever you decide it s an easy win to get customers through your door and to your website. The Freshers passport is an A6 format booklet and the following prices apply. The deadline for submitted adverts will be Tuesday 1 st September Note: If you book to attend the Freshers Fair and take out advertising before July 31 st we offer a 10% discount on the whole package. Poster Areas Our poster sites are placed in the busiest and highest footfall locations on campus. Posters are a simple, but a successful way to reinforce your message to the student market! Posters are the most popular form of advertising at UCS. With several posters you can re-enforce the same message at a number of locations across the campus. 5 Costs We will consider contracts based on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis and we can put a bespoke package together for you to suit your budget. A term is based on a 13 week period of time. 1 x AO poster per Term VAT 1 x A1 poster per Term VAT 1 x A2 poster per Term 75 + VAT A3 poster per Term 50 + VAT (Minimum 50 booking required) We can provide a printing service at heavily discounted rates, please call us for details of A0, A1 and A2 printing costs. 6 The Students Union Newspaper Our Student Newspaper is issued every month and is distributed across all our networks. These spaces are limited, however it is possible to book in advance or take a series of monthly adverts at a reduced rate. Please speak to Malcolm Alden on for further information. Current rates are as follows: Full page (A4 portrait) Half page (A5 landscape) - 50 Quarter page (A6 Portrait) - 25 Note: Above prices are exclusive of VAT Flyer distribution If you want to distribute leaflets on campus then a simple leafleting or a sampling campaign is likely to be the best option. Get your message out to students by using our specialist promotions staff to do it on your behalf. We can directly target halls of residence and high footfall areas all over campus, along with student post boxes to deliver a wide coverage. Every Feb/March is a busy time for us as we undertake the process of recruiting our new Sabbatical Officers and Executive Committee. The Elections period is the highest profile campaign and receives concentrated media attention. All our media channels are taken over in this 2 month period.
