The festival includes a soundstage, kid s zone, historical exhibits, community interaction, inspiration component and vendors. 4 Frequently Asked Questions Expected Attendance? Expected attendance is 3,000 or more based on last year's attendance. If there s bad weather is it relocated? The festival will not be relocated due to inclement weather. Sponsors will get the benefit of 90% of the advertising which will be done before the festival. Are we allowed to sell at the event? Yes, sponsors are allowed to sell at the event. Do you have any partners of the event (i.e. radio stations)? Cumulus Broadcasting is a media sponsor with over 85,000 listeners and the City of Tallahassee and Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority are co-sponsors. Last year s sponsors included corporate sponsors such as MetroPCS and Mainline Information Systems. What are demographics of the festival participants? The festival is marketed to all sectors of the Tallahassee community and the surrounding area. The average income of the households that attends is approximately $30,000 and the income of the average family in attendance is $49,000. Male and Female attendance is approximately equal. African Americans make up approximately 75% and White and Others make up 25% of festival attendees. Adults over 18 years of age account for approximately 70% of attendees. The festival is marketed primarily to those residing within the City of Tallahassee and the surrounding areas. Cost of entry? The festival is free to all participants.
