3 Executive Summary Stanian Outdoor Ltd is an outdoor advertising company focusing on cost-effective, highly targeted ads towards a niche market. Unlike traditional outdoor advertising companies which focus on advertising to the mass-audiences, Stanian Outdoor has narrowed its focus down to an important group. This is young adults in universities and colleges. Introduction Outdoor Advertising is focused on marketing to consumers when they are on the go in public spaces, in transit, waiting (such as in a medical office), in specific commercial locations such as retail centers and/or in learning institutions such as universities. In Kenya, outdoor advertising has become a booming industry. The robust growth has been attributed to a boom in the economy which has forced brands to compete fiercely for a share of the market. With billboards dominating the outdoor advertising industry to reach mass audiences, little attention has been given to niche advertising where brands get to talk to a specific audience instead of the general mass population to create a more targeted campaign.

They are also the early adopters of new products/services. Our goal is to take your brand right to their feet. 0.1 Outdoor Advertising Solutions In Kenya, outdoor advertising is mostly dominated by billboards in strategic locations such as major roads and highways, bridges and buildings. In the past few years competition among companies offering billboard advertising space has dramatically increased but still remains a very expensive medium of advertising for corporations. Due to the nature of billboard advertising which is: - communicating to a mass audience and no proof of Return on Investment (ROI) to the client. Corporation s today are seeking targeted advertising with a proof of return in that they are looking to communicate with their target market. This also allows them to tailor ads to reach this audience. Hence, Stanian Outdoor has set out to achieve just that by providing ad spaces in higher learning institutions where the demographic is very specific. 0.2 Students Data We are committed to guiding our clients reach their target market by providing general information about the students as per our agreement with the institution. The data involves total student population, average age, ratio of male to female and average school fees paid per student. 0.3 Advertising Signage Placement Our advertising signages are placed in highly strategic locations within the university e.g. at the main entrances and exits, along the cafeteria and along common pathways.
