2 Special Events Overview Tuxes & Tails May 12, 2018: Tuxes & Tails is our largest and most important fundraiser of the year! It s a special evening attended by more than 900 affluent and influential animal lovers and donors who come to celebrate, bid on exclusive auction items and support the life-saving work of Seattle Humane. The gala will be held at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, and will feature a live and silent auction, gourmet four-course dinner and of course, our adoptable pet runway show. In 2017, we raised more than $1.8 million dollars to continue to provide food, supplies and medical care to each animal that comes through our shelter, offer assistance to those in need in our community through our community outreach programs, and support the larger animal welfare networks with our disaster relief efforts! Over The Edge Summer 2018: The newest edition to the lineup of signature Seattle Humane events is our most thrilling yet! We ll be partnering with Over The Edge USA to bring a fundraiser for the bravest of the brave. Each participant who signs up and fundraises to a goal of $1000 or more will have the opportunity to rappel down the side of a 20 story office tower! There will be a full unveiling of the theme and details to follow. Expect plenty of media coverage and opportunities for your sponsorship to be in the spotlight. The event itself includes vendor booths, photo opportunities, VIP lounges and more! Adoption and Outreach Events: Seattle Humane hosts many types of events within the shelter each year where you can be a featured partner. From weekend adoption promotions of some of our harder-to-adopt pets to our Santa Paws photos and other in-house activities, there are many chances to get your name out to the potential adopters who visit Seattle Humane.
