4 Q4 What challenges/concerns, if any, do you think your community will experience as a result of the legalization of recreational marijuana? Answered: 17 Skipped: 10 # Date 1 Water use for growers, assessments/taxes, number and location of dispensaries, security issues for growers/sellers 5/2/2017 4:33 AM 2 In the sort term it could bring added revenue to the area, however, as Colorado has discovered, the added expenses do not justify the benefits. There is a high probability with the limited resources of our area, our community would be in the same situation. 5/1/2017 4:06 AM 3 regulations, taxing 5/1/2017 3:52 AM 4 just basic questions of how it will be managed and where people can smoke. There was on question/concern that we may have 4-6 locations in a town that has 3 liquor stores 4/28/2017 1:34 AM 5 Enforcement of legal limits. Potentially more smoking taking place in city limits. 4/26/2017 8:52 AM 6 Our destination has a reputation for being affluent. It would minimize our reputation as a safe and affluent destination. 4/26/2017 7:30 AM 7 The City Council in January began looking into an ordinance that ensures the citywide ban on commercial sales and dispensaries would be in place before 2018, when state agencies begin issuing licenses for cultivation, manufacturing, distribution and transportation of marijuana. 8 displacement of traditional ag in fields and warehouse space; cannabis businesses consuming most of available space, limiting ability to attract other businesses to area; multiple jurisdictions with contradictory regulations; smoking in hotel rooms; erosion of brand integrity (we do NOT want to be the weed capital) 4/26/2017 6:48 AM 4/26/2017 3:10 AM 9 Unsure, 4/25/ :16 AM 10 Our Framing community is concerned about work force. Grape labor is move to marijuana farming job higher wages. 4/25/2017 9:31 AM 11 Still TBD as both City Council and County finalize their permitting. 4/25/2017 5:41 AM 12 Local issue so far has been centered around growing facilities and the impact on surrounding businesses. 4/25/2017 5:23 AM 13 Will attract more drug users, more homelessness, and will be used in public (already happening) because there is a lack of officers and therefore lack of enforcement. It will damage our marketing efforts to showcase our area as a place to do business and/or place to visit. 4/25/2017 5:21 AM 14 I think it could negatively impact our community due to perception, fear, issues from a federal standpoint, etc. 4/25/2017 5:07 AM 15 highly controversial may dilute support from segments of the community 4/25/2017 5:00 AM 16 safety 4/25/2017 4:56 AM 17 Many here are opposed to Prop 64 and will adopt the most stringent laws to make sure it isn't sold here. medical marijuana sales allowed here. 4/25/2017 4:56 AM 4 / 9

5 Q5 What community benefits, if any, do you think your community will experience as a result of the legalization of recreational marijuana? Answered: 16 Skipped: 11 # Date 1 Economic 5/2/2017 4:33 AM 2 Until our community embraces the concept, there will not be any benefits. 5/1/2017 4:06 AM 3 jobs, economic development 5/1/2017 3:52 AM 4 not sure we will see much added benefit 4/28/2017 1:34 AM 5 Would look to Colorado and Washington for data. More relaxed visitors. 4/26/2017 8:52 AM 6 none 4/26/2017 7:30 AM 7 N/A 4/26/2017 6:48 AM 8 increased tax revenues 4/26/2017 3:10 AM 9 Unsure 4/25/ :16 AM 10 Unknown 4/25/2017 9:31 AM 11 Economic impact 4/25/2017 5:41 AM 12 only additional tax revenue 4/25/2017 5:23 AM 13 NONE. Which is unfortunate for those who need it for medical reasons. 4/25/2017 5:21 AM 14 possible alternative for agriculture since state regulations are killing our local farms and any opportunity to be sustainable 4/25/2017 5:07 AM 15 taxes 4/25/2017 5:00 AM 16 Maybe some of them will just chill out. 4/25/2017 4:56 AM 5 / 9

Date 1 t sure 5/2/2017 4:33 AM 2 It is difficult to say, but one issue is that most of our hotels are non-smoking hotels and it seems visitors who travel for marijuana will want to smoke it before they are home. This could have an adverse affect on the "family" market that we target and cater to. 3 I think it will have a negative affect on our destination, which as a reputation for being a family-friendly affluent destination 4 since it's statewide I don't foresee a drawback, and definitely don't see it as a visitation driver to our particular destination. 5/1/2017 4:06 AM 4/26/2017 7:30 AM 4/26/2017 3:10 AM 5 Just brings in more people who are loitering, harassing visitors, and not offering anything positive to the community. 4/25/2017 5:21 AM 6 Our current legislation doesn't allow for this and we do not hear a word about it from our visitors. It's not important to them. If we do allow, the perception changes and the type of visitor changes. We are a family destination. 4/25/2017 5:07 AM 7 It could discourage family market --need to study Colorado and bring in others. 4/25/2017 5:00 AM 8 We don't have a lot of tourism from other places so people won't be heading here to smoke. 4/25/2017 4:56 AM 6 / 9
