We are pleased to announce that the Kentucky Public Procurement Association will hold its 24th Annual State Forum and Products Exposition on November 4-6, This year s KPPA Vendor Expo will be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center, (KICC) in Louisville, KY. We would like to take this opportunity to invite your company to share in our excitement and be an exhibitor at our 1st exposition at KICC on Thursday, November 5, Your company can enjoy bringing any and all the equipment and displays you would like to this year s show. Since our event will be at the Kentucky International Convention Center, space will not be an issue as we will have plenty booth spaces available as well as plenty of dock space and a ramp that will facilitate easy access for vehicles and large equipment to the exhibit area. We look forward to a really big show! When KPPA arrives, we expect great island adventures while educating our members, meeting with our vendors and having lots of fun along the way! From our Caribbean Island adventures to our Cheeseburger in Paradise Vendor Luncheon, you won t want to miss a moment! This year s KPPA booklet is entitled, Not Wasting Away in Procurementville. Our book will include valuable information for members and vendors including a listing of Vendor registrants with a layout of the booth locations, a workshop agenda, and training handouts along with advertising! Vendors can purchase full page and half page ads in our book so our members will have your contact information at their fingertips. Our members love these books and find they are valuable tools to use throughout the year. 4 KPPA CONFERENCE EXHIBITOR INFORMATION General: The KPPA Products Expo will be Thursday, November 5, 2009, at the Kentucky International Convention Center, KICC, in Louisville, KY. The official time of the Expo will be from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A luncheon will be served from approx. 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The luncheon will be restricted to registered conference delegates and registered exhibitors. Fees: The exhibit fee is $500/single booth or $900/double booth, and $400 for each additional booth space required. The exhibit fee will include tickets to the conference luncheon for up to two (2) representatives per booth. Additional luncheon tickets are $25 each. Coffee and donuts will be served from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. in the vendor exhibit area. Payment is required with exhibitor registration (enclosed). Checks are to be made payable to the KPPA and mailed to P.O. Box 1333, Frankfort, Kentucky We are requesting that all registrations be submitted no later than August 15, 2009 or sooner. Electricity: Electricity and Internet service is not provided by KPPA but may be obtained from the KICC designated provider. Registration: The number of exhibit booths is limited and last year's expo was a sellout. Registration will be accepted and booths assigned in the order they are received. KPPA reserves the right to remove any objectionable material or activity which does not meet the standards of the conference. KPPA will not be responsible for any damages or loss of property. All Hospitality Rooms must have prior approval from KPPA. Setup/Dismantling: The KICC will open at 7:00 a.m. and booth set-up may begin at that time. All booth set-ups must be completed by 11:00 a.m. Special arrangements for large equipment and vehicles can be arranged for the day prior to the Exposition by contacting Carolyn Turner at (502) Ext Booths can be dismantled after 4:30 p.m. All equipment must be out by 12:00 p.m., November 5, 2009 unless other arrangements are made with the KICC. Specifications: Each booth will be 10' x 10' (single); 10 x 20 (double) and include a skirted display table, and two chairs, exhibitor sign. Exhibitors will be responsible for all other needs and decorations. Exhibitors are encouraged to confirm participation early to be assured of booth space and preferred location. 5 CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP BOOTHS NOW AVAILABLE For several years, KPPA has been honored to have corporate sponsors for special events during our Annual Forum. It has been a great success not only for KPPA but for the participating Vendors as well. This year KPPA has reserved several choice booths at a special rate for the Corporate Sponsors. As a Corporate Sponsor, you will have your company s name and sponsorship level prominently displayed throughout the Forum activities and in the delegate s program/agenda. During the Products Expo, KPPA will specially recognize each Corporate Sponsor and present them a commemorative inscribed plaque representing KPPA s appreciation. This year we will again offer the Vendors a chance to pre-register for the 2010 conference and reserve your 2010 booth location while attending the 2009 conference. No initial payment will be required. We will have one of the Vendor Recruitment Committee members at the registration booth and they will be able to assist you with your pre-registration form. You will be required to submit payment to KPPA by April 30, 2010 or forfeit your pre-reserved location.
