ACC Central Florida is the preeminent bar association for in- house counsel in Central Florida with more than 200 members from leading corporate and private sector organizations throughout the region. ACC Central Florida is focused on meeting the professional needs of its growing membership and is proud to be the premier provider of continuing legal education, networking opportunities, and community service projects ( Events ) for the in- house community. Our continuing success in serving our members is due largely to Sponsors like you! Becoming a Sponsor for the ACC Central Florida provides you the unique opportunity, offered only to a select few, to educate and network with our members. Any law firm or legal service provider may apply to serve as an ACC Central Florida Sponsor of an Event; however, only organizations that comply with the application process and agree to abide by these Sponsorship Guidelines below by submitting the Sponsorship Pledge Form will be presented to the Chapter Board for approval and acceptance. To be considered for 2014 Sponsorship, please complete and return the Sponsorship Pledge Form (located on the last page). Because there are a limited number of Sponsorships available, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. 3 SPONSORSHIP GUIDELINES 1. Event Scheduling Sponsor must coordinate the date for the Event with the ACC- Central Florida Executive Director ( ACC Director ) within three 3 weeks following submission of the Sponsorship Pledge Form. Sponsor must submit and obtain approval from the ACC Director of preferred topic and Event location no less than 90 days prior to the scheduled Event. Sponsor must provide ACC Director a final copy of an electronic invitation to be sent to members no less than 6 weeks prior to the scheduled Event. The invitation must contain all relevant data including: topic, date, time, location and logos. The invitation must receive approval from the Program Committee. Sponsor must provide ACC Director an electronic version of the presentation no less than two weeks prior to the scheduled Event. 2. Topic Selection All programs, social events and CLE Programs shall be subject to approval of the Chapter Board and require coordination with the ACC Director. Topic must be addressed from the perspective of in- house counsel. The program should focus on practical applications, rather than theory. Presentation should contain useful, substantive, and relevant information for the meeting attendees. The speakers should give substantive handouts (printed, flash drive or CD) related to the topic. 3. Facility and Food/Drinks Each sponsored Program/Event must include a breakfast/lunch and/or hors d oeuvres, beverages and parking at no cost to attendees. The sponsor is responsible for arranging, contracting and paying the vendor directly for use of accommodations, food, drinks or other expenses incurred. Any expenses incurred by the Sponsor shall be the Sponsor s sole responsibility. 4. Sponsor Announcements/Invitations. All program and event communications such as invitations, announcements and advertising must be pre- approved by the ACC Director and meet then- existing ACC Central Florida ( ACC- CFL ) guidelines. All such communications must abide by the guidelines provided by the ACC Director from time to time. Any communications to members shall be coordinated exclusively through the ACC Director. Sponsor shall not send or initiate any communications directly to members. All program and event communications may include Sponsor s logo if timely received and approved by the ACC Director. Sponsor may share the program invitation with Sponsor s corporate in- house clients at the Sponsor s sole cost and expense. Sponsor shall prepare and issue at least one press release regarding the event, which content and distribution list must be pre- approved by the ACC Director. The Sponsor may also advertise the event at the 3

4 5. Event Restrictions Sponsor s sole cost and expense, provided that ACC Director approves any advertisements. RSVPs and attendee lists must be coordinated with the ACC Director. The number of representatives that can attend a Program/Event is predetermined by level of sponsorship in the Sponsorship Package, unless otherwise coordinated with the ACC Director. During a scheduled program or event, the ACC- CFL may provide literature and other materials about ACC, including the Chapter Calendar and ACC applications. Sponsor shall not market any other firm/company event unrelated to the ACC in any advertising or materials provided to ACC- CFL Members. No aggressive promotion of the firm/company's services is allowed. The speaker s knowledge on the subject should sell itself. Speakers shall not market their services or organizations in connection with the presentation, except as specifically agreed to in advance with the ACC Director The sponsor may place promotional materials and business cards on the registration table. The sponsor may offer a give- away or leave give- away items at the tables at the sponsor s option. Any additional speaker or sponsor information shall be reviewed and approved by the ACC Director. 6. Evaluation Form and Continuing Legal Education (CLE). Sponsor shall arrange for Florida Continuing Legal Education ( CLE ) Credit prior to the Program/Event, with an emphasis on.5 to 1 hours of Ethics credit. Sponsor may be required to apply for CLE credit in other states, but is not required to obtain approval for any one program in more than two states. As a provider of CLE credit, Sponsor should distribute and collect evaluation forms from program attendees. Evaluation forms must be pre- approved by, and any feedback must be shared with, the ACC Director. 7. Contact With ACC Members ACC- CFL shall retain ownership and control over its proprietary data, including its membership contact information and ACC- CFL logo. Sponsor shall not use the membership contact information for any commercial purpose, including solicitation or contacting members for any purpose other than those specifically authorized by ACC- CFL in writing. Use of membership contact information, including mailing labels to be used for the sole purpose of publicizing a Program/Event, must be coordinated with the ACC Director. 8. Miscellaneous The ACC- CFL Chapter President or ACC Director may make exceptions to these Guidelines for good cause and in the interests of the Chapter. These Guidelines are subject to change from time to time, provided any such material changes during the calendar year shall be communicated to all approved sponsors within thirty days of adoption. ACC- CFL makes no representation or warranty to Sponsor of any expected results from participating in the sponsorship program. Failure to comply with these Guidelines may result in Sponsor s inability to participate in future programs, events or sponsorship application processes and/or restricted access during the remainder of the sponsorship year, if any. 4

5 DIAMOND SPONSORSHIP $5, Only one (1) Sponsorship Available A September Event Description: Opportunity to be recognized as the only 2014 sponsor to present the Fourth Annual ACC- CFL CLO/GC Roundtable & Chapter CLE Seminar. This program is a once a year, headline event (subject to sponsorship agreement guidelines). The Diamond Sponsor has the opportunity to: Host luncheon roundtable session solely with ACC- CFL CLO/GCs: sponsor speakers will join CLO/GCs in an informal exchange of information on chosen topics. ACC- CFL CLO/GCs will be invited by electronic invitation and hard copy invitation (hard copy invitations will be provided by sponsor). Host an afternoon CLE for ALL ACC- CFL members following the CLO/GC Roundtable Luncheon that includes a GC panel for a portion of the seminar during which the sponsor is the moderator of the panel. Sponsorship will also include: Advantage of working with an ACC- CFL Program Committee dedicated to this event Receive acknowledgment as a Diamond Sponsor in all advertising and program materials Receive recognition from Chapter Leadership prior to the beginning of the program Have up to eight (8) individuals from your firm/organization as guests to the program Opportunity to invite unlimited in- house clients to the program Display materials and signage at the program Opportunity to host a social networking cocktail reception in conjunction with the seminar Allowed six (6) representatives to attend the ACC- CFL Annual Holiday Party Opportunity to attend social networking and community service events solely sponsored by ACC- CFL (number of attendees allowed will be determined by event and size of venue by the ACC Director) Send electronic Thank You to program attendees in coordination with the ACC Director ~ Draft must be sent to the ACC Director within three (3) business days after the program 5

7 PLATINUM SPONSORSHIP $4, Description: Sponsorship of a half day (up to six (6) CLE credit hours) ACC Central Florida CLE seminar (subject to sponsorship agreement guidelines) to include: Receive acknowledgment as a Platinum Sponsor in all advertising and program materials Receive recognition from Chapter Leadership prior to the beginning of the program Have up to six (6) individuals from your firm/organization as guests to the program Opportunity to invite unlimited in- house clients to the program Display materials and signage at the program First choice over other sponsors of subject matter and timing of programs (with the exception of the CLO/GC Program) Opportunity to host a social networking breakfast, luncheon, and/or cocktail reception in conjunction with the seminar Allowed four (4) representatives to attend the ACC- CFL Annual Holiday Party.
