2 Conference Sponsorship As a product or service provider, there are two ways you may participate in FAPSC Continuing Education programs: (1) via Sponsorship opportunities or (2) via Exhibiting at our Annual Administrator Conference. Through your company s participation and contribution, FAPSC is able to provide networking opportunities, critical information regarding compliance, school operations, best practices, federal and state updates to schools in the private postsecondary education sector. Thank you for your support as we celebrate 60 years of FAPSC. Learning is Forever and throughout our 60th Anniversary year we have plenty of learning opportunities for school personnel. In our 60th year, FAPSC is pleased to present a completely renovated and reinvented sponsorship offerings for you. In 2016 you can build your own sponsorship package under our new sponsorship structure, and take control of determining what opportunities you most wish to pursue. There are many advantageous cost-savings built in the new format to ensure your company gets the customized benefits you want most - however many are limited in availability so you are encouraged to act sooner rather than later! The Build Your Own Process Sponsorship Packages are listed on pages 4-7, which correspond to the Sponsorship Benefit Selection Options on pages 8-9. Sponsorship Packages (pages 4-7) are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are bundled to include a range of varying benefit options from which each sponsoring company may choose (pages 8-9) allowing you to create a own customized sponsorship (within certain parameters). Sponsorship Benefit Selection is also first come, first-serve which creates certain limitations on the quantities of benefits under each benefit column. Once a company purchases a Sponsorship Package via the online Sponsorship Registration Form, that company will be sent (via ) the weblink/form in order to select individualized sponsorship benefits and build a customized sponsorship package (based upon available sponsorship benefit options). All selection is first-come, first served. 2

3 2016 Conferences FAPSC will host one for School Administrators: August 3-5, 2016 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. This is an exclusive event for school administration and will feature multiple breakout topics and tracks and a 60+ exhibit hall area for vendors to network with conference attendees. In conjunction with this conference FAPSC will host a 60th Anniversary Celebration and it s Inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Dinner. 10 Frequently Asked Questions about Sponsorships 1. Why should my company consider sponsoring? Sponsorship is one of the two ways (the alternative is exhibiting) in which a product or service provider may participate in FAPSC Continuing Education Conference Events. affiliated with product/service providers may not attend the conference and register as an administrator or faculty member for the event as these rates are reserved for school personnel only. Product and Service providers must register as an exhibitor or a sponsor in order to participate in FAPSC Conferences. Sponsorship is an excellent way to support FAPSC Conferences and allows school personnel to register at a highly discounted rate to attend important continuing education classes and earn CEUs. 2. What is the new Build Your Custom Sponsorship system and process? Sponsorship Packages (Pages 4-7) are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are bundled to include a range of varying benefit options from which each sponsoring company may choose (Pages 8-9) allowing them to create their own customized sponsorship (within certain parameters). The Sponsorship Benefit Selection is also first come, first-serve which is why you will note certain limitations on the quantities of benefits under each benefit column. All selection is a first-come, first served. 3. Does my Annual Conference Sponsorship cover my participation at the FAPSC 60th Anniversary Celebration and Inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Dinner? No. These are two separate events. However, you can purchase tickets and sponsorships for this special dinner event and we invite you to attend the cocktail reception hosted in the exhibit hall preceding this dinner which will incorporate conference attendees and dinner guests. If you are an Annual Conference Exhibitor, discounts will be available towards your dinner ticket purchase. 4. What else is new for sponsors this year? FAPSC will host an exclusive by invitation only reception (in the Annual Conference Exhibit Hall) on August 3 for leadership members of schools including campus directors, corporate officers etc. prior to the official launch of conference. This is an opportunity for you to network with a different group of individuals that may not typically participate in the conference events. Verbal Ad Time will be a new feature whereby sponsors are allotted specific segments of time to explain a little bit about their product/services etc. over the microphone in the exhibit hall. Duration times are indicated under each sponsorship package listing. Sponsorship recognition will now take place in the exhibit hall during exhibit hours at the conference and not as a separate event in the general session room. 11 5. Will my company receive name listing on signs at the conference? Yes. All sponsoring companies (who register prior to production deadlines) will be listed on the FAPSC Conference Entrance Unit. Companies sponsoring individual breaks, meals, sessions, etc. will be listed on individual easel signs at the event at which they are sponsoring. 6. What is a Co-Presentation breakout educational session? Co-Presentations are a unique opportunity for sponsors to present an educational session that incorporates the knowledge and experience of their school clients. This is a wonderful way for practitioners to share with their peers using your company s guidance. Company representatives select a school-based person, and the pair jointly present on the topic of their choice within the education track. Each session is typically one hour in duration (including Q&A). The company receives sponsorship credit in the program, session signs and is permitted to bring promotional or informational documents related to their products and services for distribution at the conclusion of the session. The vendor must agree to submit a copy of the presentation (plus any additional materials) and topic proposal in advance for review by the FAPSC Continuing Education review committee. All presentations must follow the FAPSC specific set of guidelines before they may be considered. Download the Guidelines at 7. What is a Presentation breakout education session? This type of presentation is entirely vendor led. There is an increased fee of $500 for this type of session compared to the Co-Presentation Sponsorship. Each session is typically one hour in duration (including Q&A). The vendor must agree to submit a copy of the presentation (plus any additional materials) and topic proposal in advance for review by the FAPSC Continuing Education review committee. If I select co-presentation/presentation breakout session as part of a package sponsorship or a la carte offering, how do I know that there will be room in the schedule for me? Sessions will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. There a limited number of breakout session in each concurrent breakout track. 9. I am interested in a sponsorship package which includes sponsoring one faculty conference. May I select which of the tentative five faculty conferences my company will sponsor? Faculty Conference sponsorships will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. You are encouraged to submit your sponsorship selection early for participation in these events. 10. What is a Conference Tote-Bag Insert? A conference tote-bag insert can range from a flyer advertising what products and services your company offers, to an office desktop doodad, to something useful to conference attendees. Sponsors are responsible for supplying and mailing the item by the FAPSC specified deadline for placement in conference tote-bag. 11. Who receives the Conference Tote-Bag Inserts? All registered attendees at the Administrator Conference are issued a conference tote-bag at the conference registration counter. 11

12 12. Will I have access to the attendee registrant list? Yes. As an event sponsor the attendee registrant list will be ed to you (in Microsoft Excel format) pre- and post-conference for the continuing education conference at which you are sponsoring. We request contact information for each registrant as well as their professional title/role. 13. As an Annual Conference Exhibitor, why should I consider sponsoring? Booth Location - Sponsoring is a great way to further promote your company in multiple ways both inside and outside the exhibit hall. Sponsorship is one of the three criteria used in booth location assignment within the exhibit hall space (the other two criteria are membership status, and the submission date of the exhibitor registration). Grand Prize Scavenger Hunt - All exhibitors will automatically be listed on a prize punch/ stamp card that attendees receive. Attendees must visit each exhibitor s booth to receive their stamp to become eligible for prize drawings. Exhibiting Sponsors will be listed on the prize/stamp card as part of a special attendee scavenger hunt for the FAPSC Grand Prize drawing. Sponsors will provide one question regarding their product/services that attendees will need to verify with the sponsor. Attendees must answer all scavenger hunt questions (correctly identify each sponsoring company with messaging regarding their product/services) to be eligible for the Grand Prize Drawing (Friday afternoon). 14. Now that I have signed up as a sponsor, where do I submit my exhibit selection information? Use the Exhibitor Registration Form to ensure your company has a booth in the exhibit hall - available on the FAPSC website! 15. Where do I sign up my company representatives for the conference? As a sponsor, your company is granted access to a certain amount of name badges (based upon your sponsorship purchase and benefit selection). You will receive further instruction on how to register for badges closer to the time of the event. As a side note: Speaker/presenter badges are complimentary. If you are sponsoring a breakout session, speaker/presenter badges are included with the cost of your sponsorship (up to a maximum of 3). 16. What about the Golf Tournament? Don t worry, the FAPSC Annual Jay Lambeth Memorial Golf Tournament has sponsorship opportunities as well as room for golfer registrations! This information is located on the Golf Tournament Page!
