2 Introducti : Internatial trade is perceived as an important instrument for development. With increasing demands of agricultural products and possibilities of increasing the trade in agriculture, particularly to increase the export of agricultural products, will support us to generate the new resources for development in the country. Presently, India's share in world agriculture export is around 2.0 % and shall be increased to 3.5% for which we shall bring awareness amg stakeholders, entrepreneurs and traders about the government's export promoti schemes and procedures, where knowledge of n-trade barriers and new Foreign Trade Policy: will support them to increase their exports well as to generate employment opportunity in the country. Therefore, to pder up the procedure, trade policies and promotial schemes for agricultural commodities, issues of stakeholders will be address during the workshop. About the venue: Sardarkrushinagar is the Headquarter of Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University (SDAU) that came into existence 1 st May, 2004 as e of the four Agricultural University carved out from the erstwhile Gujarat Agricultural University (GAU). The C. P. College of Agriculture is situated at Sardarkrushinagar, the main campus of the SDAU and Department of Agriculture Ecomics is set up as per ICAR norms and recommendatis of the 4 th Deans Committee cstituted by the ICAR, which is involved in UG and PG teaching and running the plan projects supported by the ICAR / state government with good infrastructure facilities for teaching and research. The nearest railway stati is Palanpur (28 km) and the nearest Air Port is Ahmedabad (160 km). Palanpur is situated Delhi-Ahmadabad via Ajmer-Jaipur rail route.
