1 SALISBURY LIVESTOCK MARKET TUESDAY 21 st NOVEMBER 2017 IMPORTANT NOTICE Store Cattle and Dairy and Calf Buyers are respectfully requested to pay for their purchases on the day of sale, failure to do so will incur a credit charge of 1% per week Strict bio security rules will be in place in the market. All persons entering the pennage area should wear clean clothing and footwear capable of disinfection. All cattle must be double tagged. It is not sufficient to send the ear tags separately. Vendors and Purchasers please note : All cattle are sold in accordance with the LAA conditions of sale as displayed, we would highlight the following. The vendor warrants that, unless otherwise stated, all heifers are sold as being empty at the time of sale, this is a 6 month + 5 day warranty. The vendor warrants that, unless stated to the contrary, any male cattle not expressly sold as bulls : (a) have been castrated; (after sale warranty) and (b) have not been imperfectly castrated ( day warranty) The vendor warrants each animal to free from any unsoundness. This warranty is : (i) In respect of eyes, teeth, legs and feet or any visible defect, an after sale warranty ; and (ii) In all other respects (except as warranted in Conditions 34 to 37 inclusive and 39 to 51 inclusive of the conditions of sale) a day warranty Any sire details are given by the vendor and published in good faith. The auctioneers cannot be held liable for any bonuses or payments which the purchaser may or may not receive based on this information. Any dispute over any information given will be between the vendor and the purchaser only. Vendors should only supply sire details where they can be certain they are correct, these details should be written, or ideally printed, on the passports.
