The fertiliser can be buried, applied to the row, applied between the rows, or applied at the plant base thus providing multiple possibilities. Furthermore the hoppers have capacities ranging from 900 to 3000 L. The FERTILOC+ is suitable for farmers with mixed cropping, the FERTIMAX is aimed at contractors. The possibility of adding a FERTILOC+ to an interrow hoe is an added bonus. My main aim when I equipped myself with this implement was to reduce the amount of liquid fertiliser applied and to put it in the right place at the right time. This implement has enabled me to make considerable savings on my inputs and above all I think that the FERTILOC+ can be credited with the fact that the quality of my forage maize has increased steadily over the last 5 years, with high protein levels. What s more by hoeing and applying fertiliser in one pass has saved a lot of time!
