14 Existing schemes of DMI and NCDC to be leveraged MIDH: pre-cooling units, on-farm pack houses, mobile pre-cooling units, staging cold rooms, cold storage units (with/without CA capability), integrated cold chain system, reefer vans, reefer containers, primary/mobile processing units, ripening chambers, etc. Credit linked back ended subsidy Growers associations etc with minimum 25 members eligible for assistance. Bamboo: PHM include post harvest storage and treatment facilities.

15 Assistance for setting up markets only to States/UTs which amended and notified their APMC Setting up of new markets in private and cooperative sector Direct marketing No market fee on transactions outside APMC yard No requirement of having a premises within the market yard for grant of license. Contract farming Waiver of market fee on perishable horticulture produce.

16 Organisation of farmers into FPOs/FPCs to be encouraged. Guidelines issued by SFAC to prevail. New Scheme entitled Equity grant and Credit Guarantee Fund for promotion of FPCS launched. To widen equity base and promote viability of FPCs.
