ORGANIC LIQUID MANURE GROUP

GENERAL OVERVIEW ON PLANT NUTRITION In our world where around 7 milliards people live nowadays, more than 1 milliard people fight against hunger. According to the determinations of the United Nations Population Funds, considering that the world population will be of 9 milliards people in 2050, the hunger problem will increase even more in future years. While the countries are conducting necessary activities in order to meet enough food supply on one hand, they also conduct rigorously controls of nitrate and nitrate residuals found in food and originating from pesticide and fertiliser harmful for human health on the other hand. The unconsciously usage of fertiliser and medicine in production overbalances the ecologic balance; the ecologic imbalance destroys a sustainable agricultural production system. The chemical fertilization is the usage of fertilisers obtained from chemical (artificial) ways in order to meet the plant nutrition elements not found or lacking in earth.

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN PLANT NUTRITION DEFICIENCIES For a healthy development for plant nutrition, we need N-P-K macro elements and trace quantity of trace elements. In case of macro and micro elements deficiencies;

Plant loses its natural green colour; its leaves tend to curve. Root system cannot be well developed, plant remains short. Fruit maturation may delay, fruit quality decrease. Fruit form irregularities may appear. Plant leaves may become small.

Colony growing in fruit and vegetables may slow down; flower and bud formation may decrease. Lower resistance against fungal and bacterial factors; become opened to diseases. Lower resistance against drought Nutrition elements necessary for the growth of plants are absorbed slower by the plant or is fully prevented. The deficiency of plant nutrition elements leads to such problems. AS IT IS THE CASE FOR ANY LIVING, HEALTHY NUTRITION IS ALSO ESSENTIAL FOR PLANTS.

SOME DAMAGES OF CONVENTIONAL (CHEMICAL) FERTILISER To earth: Earth becomes salted. Imbalance of microorganisms Imbalance of food substance Accumulation of hazardous heavy metal. To environment: Accumulation of eutrophication and nitrate in water Render ozone layer thinner. T o human: May lead to CANCER.

About Terra Farm Organic Liquid Fertiliser Group It is developed with Turkish-German R&D cooperation. It has foreign organic product certificate USDA NOP, JAS documented by CERES Certification services entitled by the ministry of food, agriculture and livestock. It is produced with the permit numbered 8735 and license numbered 1287 granted by the ministry of food, agriculture and livestock. The group of Terra Farm organic liquid fertiliser has such a form absorbed easily within the scope of the plant. There is no artificial chemical substance in it. Besides strong herbal extracts produced in patented production process; It has a special formulation enriched with herbal originated humic and fulvic acids as well as other organic sources including amino acids.

Ensures an increase in productivity of the product at 20-25% Increases product quality and accelerates fruit maturation.

Ensures healthy and good green sections with strong roots Incites resistivity of plant against diseases and stresses face to drought Do not generate residual trouble such as metal and heavy metal as it does not contain any chemical substance.

Provides earliness in harvest up to 20 days Extends harvest period up to 2 months in greenhouse products Incites the natural growing hormones required by the plants.

APPLICATION ITEMS TO TAKE CARE DURING ORGANIC FERTILISER USAGE Wash and clean thoroughly before usage the pulveriser to be used in fertilisation operations. Filter the product first and put in pulveriser. Before application, rinse very well the product package. The applications shall be realized in the morning at early hours or in the evening and in windless days.

EXPERIMENTS ACCORDING TO THE EXPERIMENTS WORKS, THE TIMES AND DURATIONS FOR THE BEST APPLICATION THAT SHALL BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION IN PRODUCTS ARE GIVEN HERE UNDER WITH RELEVANT VISUAL DETERMINATIONS BY DETERMINING THE DOSES REQUIRED. *In experiments works made in 2012 and whose details are given here under, only Terra Farm organic liquid fertiliser group products have been used and no other fertilisation application was done. Furthermore, no plant protection drug application against greenhouse disease and damages has been applied in any experimental parcels. Greenhouse products, tomato, cucumber, pepper and eggplant fertilisation programs have been experimented in different greenhouses and agriculture conditions. The applications done on the products ensure important increases in earliness, quality and productivity ways. *The seedling have been planted on

Effect of Terra Farm Organic Liquid on lettuce ( Lactuca Sativa L.) growing Summary The plants are planted as seedling in pots, following a growing of 8 weeks, their wet weights have been determined. In experiment realised in application greenhouses, by diluting the liquid fertiliser obtained from Terra Farm Tarım Ürünleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. at 1/100 We have applied on leaf 3 times every 2 weeks in the 1 st experiment group, On the earth once time every 2 weeks in the 2 nd experiment group. On leaf 3 times every 2 weeks and on the earth once time every 2 weeks in the 3 rd experiment group. We have remarked statistically importance differences between control group plants and plants on which Terra Farm liquid organic fertiliser was applied. The biggest growing crops were observed in the 3 rd experiment group where fertiliser was applied on leaves and on earth. According to the control group, their wet weight increase is of 28,27%. This increase was observed as of 21,77% in the 2 nd experiment group where the fertiliser was applied on the earth. Whereas the wet weight increase compared to the control group was of 20,77% in the 1 st experiment group where the fertiliser was applied on leaves. Result: In this experiment, we obtain an efficient nutrition of herbal extracts, plants and have heaviest wet weight compared to control group. This positive effect observed in quite such short period of 8 weeks shows the possibility that products may allow better increase in product in long term experiments.
