Several loads of cattle graded 90% choice or better Since the inception of SGCMA, members have successfully shipped cattle for 20 years. 10 Bearswamp Farms Faison, NC Lot 2937 Farm History: Bearswamp Farms is owned and operated by Benny Grady (brother to Steve Grady), and wife Michelle, and son Lewis. Bearswamp Farms has been in operation for approximately 10 years, but the Grady Family has been farming for 30+ years. They are currently growing corn, soybeans, wheat, tobacco, and peanuts. Also running a cow/calf and stocker operation, managed by long time employee Pablo Carreon. Along with their cattle they raise hogs and chickens. Having farmed with their father, all the Grady bothers have the same end goal To utilize the land we tend, to get the most out of it, while leaving it better than we found it.
