3 THE STORY OF A BRAND It is a tale of adventure that started back in 1897 based on the skill and creativity of a resourceful master cobbler, which has continued for over one hundred years with commitment, tenacity and all Italian passion. Dolomite has been shaped by true adventure. The first in 1954: an Italian expedition group started the mission to conquer the K2 in the Himalaya mountains - one of the most dangerous peak in the world - they were equipped with Dolomite boots. Many other expeditions followed: from Groenlandia in 1966, the ascent of the great Fitz Roy peak in Patagonia in 1976, to the last charity challenge Rangdum It is to these extraordinary traditions that Dolomite owes its unique knowledge and great experience, which you can feel.

Dolomite s FW17_18 collection marks a crucial stage in the development of the themes the brand cares most about and in expressing its fundamental values geared to modern life. Function meets style and research meets tradition with the customary, beautifully-executed details in exquisite Italian taste. The collection centres around two new Premium Made in Italy designs, the new must-haves for next winter. La classica, the boot that is emblematic of typically Italian craftsmanship and expertise, now has a Light version, the fruit of a skilful materials selection and the Vibram Morflex sole s new compound; and Cinquantaquattro Relais LT, with a simple yet always vintage design, made of carefully selected high-quality Italian leather and now lighter thanks to a Vibram Morflex sole. For the Sporty Heritage range s iconic Cinquantaquatto High, Dolomite has developed new autumn-inspired colours to complete a range already enriched by the new retro-look Cinquantaquattro Mountain with its characteristic combination of two materials, milled nubuck and waxed suede. A contemporary vibe, versatility and functionality these are the key words to describe the spirit of Dolomite s Urban Outdoor, which produced the Ottantacinque, the boots inspired by 80s hiking boots. New this year are the contrast-colour versions, which highlight the sole with Gore-Tex Surround technology to guarantee breathability and total waterproofness.
