3 Concept of Kudumbashree-Micro enterprises An investment ranging from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 2.5 lakh Owned, run and managed by the entrepreneurs themselves. Individual or group enterprises having an annual return of Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh. A potential to generate a minimum of Rs per member a month An owner, manager and employee (OME) concept is envisaged in the model.

23 Women Construction Team To upgrade, diversify and certify the skills of labourer in new technologies and emerging standards in the construction industry To provide women workers with on-the-job training at construction sites To link women workers to large-scale employment opportunities in the public and private sector. To facilitate need for state and national-level policies that enable women to translate their training and skills into sustainable employment opportunities.

A joint project of Kudumbashree & Health Action by People (HAP- an NGO run by doctors) Providing home based health screening facility in Body Mass Index, Blood pressure & Blood Glucose Entrepreneurs - science background from Kudumbashree Neighbourhood families Service providers equipped with two wheeler and mobile phone- visits households and conducts routine checks 230 service providers in the field 46
