Richard Watkins (Ludlow) Katie Morris (Knighton) Philip Blackman-Howard (Tenbury) Gareth Wall or Amelia Illingsworth (Kington) ANTHRAX Owing to the outbreak of anthrax in Wiltshire it is necessary for farmers to give us a declaration that their animals have NOT come from Parishes affected by the outbreak. The reason for this is the export of skins to China. China will not take skins from an area affected by anthrax. We have supplies of declaration forms at the market. The declaration is also on our website ATTENTION TO ALL OLD EWE VENDORS As we are a slaughter market we will NOT have to read individual sheep tags for old ewes. You will NOT have to EID old ewes. The ewes can come with their existing tags and on existing license forms. This should be a considerable advantage as opposed to selling them in green markets where the ewes can be purchased for further fattening.
