2 ABSOLUTA Absoluta is a pneumatic planter developed for offering agility and efficiency in planting at areas where the fertilization of the field occurs in a different operation. With operational yield of 265 ha/day*, is an excellent tool for a precise planting, agile and in a lower time, allowing increase in productivity. The Absoluta chassis presents as main feature the hardiness and the flexibility. It is divided in 3 sections that allow the precision copy of the field, providing high quality planting. Its configuration allows 15 rows assembly with 76 centimeters spacing, up to 35 rows with 45 centimeters spacing. Seeds tank The seeds tanks from Absoluta are made of polyethylene, providing high resistance to corrosion. They are placed all over the chassis, ensuring the distribution of the weight proportionally, causing better performance and high autonomy. Turbines Absoluta has three turbines for the actuation of the vacuum chamber of the DPS system in the models 31, 33 and 35 rows and two turbines for the models 27 and 29 rows. Discs changing It is made through an easy access lever that s possible changing the crop discs. *Weather conditions can interfere in the operational yield. External wheel Absoluta is an articulated planter, has wheels on the external sections of the chassis, facilitating the transportation of the machine and lowering considerably the weight on the traction bar of the tractor. POD sections Communicates itself with the Topper 5500 and enables the automatic shutdown of the sections if there is overlap of the planted area. 3 TRANSPORT DPS SYSTEM Absoluta has 3 sections articulated chassis that guarantees more flexibility and versatility. This partition of the chassis allows 6,3 meters width for transportation. The reduced width between wheels allows the transportation in narrow roads and bridges. Lock in the lines The Absoluta is equipped with DPS (Stara Precision Seed Distribution), a pneumatic system that ensures more accurate and effective planting. Vacuum chamber Elimination of double seeds Equipped with a five-shaft organizer that separates the seed and eliminates the possibility of double seed planting. The organizer does not require adjustments or settings, regardless of the seed size. DPS features a vacuum chamber that is smaller than conventional models, along with a highly effective seal. This ensures full use of the vacuum when sucking the seeds. This efficiency allows the seed to stick more firmly to the seed distribution disc, preventing failures through vibration, thereby ensuring greater accuracy and speed in planting. Complete optimization and use of the vacuum in dosing seeds requires less turbine power and consequently lower consumption of tractor fuel. Corn Conventional discs Grain ejector The only vacuum system that features a grain ejector, responsible for ensuring the expulsion of grains from the disc holes. It has two types of ejectors, simple and double, catering to all crop discs. DPS System Discs Optionals It has lock in the rows of seeds what allows increase the height of the row from 300 to 470 millimeters, facilitating the transportation even in uneven terrains. OPTIONALS Cutting disc Corn Double discs for seeds Sorghum and Cotton Unique seed line Sorghum The DPS system has a seed driving tube developed in a special material, with a unique angle and surface. This fosters a gentle flow of seeds to the soil, reducing mechanical damage to the seeds as much as possible. The DPS is equipped with an innovative sensor that identifies the flow of seeds through capacitive waves, ensuring precise reading, as it identifies the mass of seeds to be planted. The sensor is immune to residues and positioned at the end of the seed line, identifying possible failures at the exact time the seed meets the ground. The fact that the sensor works through capacitive waves prevents the seed from coming into contact with the sensor when dropping, considerably reducing rebounds, which does not occur with other conventional sensors that are adapted to the seed conductor. The sensor is connected to Topper 5500, which offers a real-time view of seed flow per row and per meter, as well as occasional blockages. 15,5 x 16 Lagged 16 x 16 Mismatched Stara DPS System with continued seed flow ensures precisions and even planting. 4 CONTROL SYSTEM The Stara Control System is standard equipment that consist in a kit of electro hydraulic valves and sensors controlled by Topper 5500, eliminating chains and gearbox. The information of the dosage are sent to an electrical center (POD Universal), which allows to vary the application tax making the dosage of seeds and fertilizers change the application mode, through sensors and proportional valve. TECHNOLOGY STARA ROW BY ROW SHUTOFF SYSTEM Applications modes Fixed rate In this application mode the planter works with a fixed rate informed by the operator, changing the speed without interfering the plantation. Variable rate Working with variable rate the Topper allows to operate with maps in Shape File imported from a flash drive. During the planting, the dosage is automatically changed in a few seconds, according to the recommendations of the map. Benefits With the Control System it s possible to regulate the planter with agility and precision. Once regulated, it s not needed to make another operation, if the operator would like to change the seeds rate or the fertilizer dosage. The Control even allows the insertion of prescription maps for planting by variable rate, both for seeds and fertilizers, correcting the soil fertility and adjust the population according to productive potential zones. 1 Satellite Topper 5500 The Topper 5500 is a complete controller for precision agriculture, which allows working with variable rate, in other words, make the precision agriculture, being able to vary the plants population per meters. With the DGPS and autopilot in one single equipment, planting with economy and yield is guaranteed. The MPS (Planting Monitor Stara) can be integrated in the console from the Topper 5500 what is used for monitoring in real time the seeds rows, allowing the operator to follow on the screen if the dosages are right. The MPS allows informing the work situation through an alarm system and information on the screen. Topper Maps Without Stara Row By Row With Stara Row By Row Shutoff System Shutoff System Stara Row By Row Shutoff System automatically shuts off planting rows exactly when the monitor detects an area where planting was previously performed. Hence, the overlap of rows does not happen, mainly in finish and border areas, providing significant economy of 5,03% in seeds*, eliminating plants competition and improving productivity in these areas. With soy the medium productive increment in the overlap area is of 9,2% and in corn 11,1%**. *Data based in a rate of 90 works evaluated in the Brazilian states of RS, SC, PR SP and MT. **Data based in the works performed at the Projeto Aquarius. 2 Antenna GGL 3 Topper 5500 Stara offers the software Topper Maps freely for farmers. It ensures the visualization of the working trail, informing planted hectares, working speed, fertilizers or seeds dosage, altitude maps, allowing the interpolation of the data too. Flex PLT The opening and closing of sections, locking and unlocking of the Absoluta s header, as well the up and down are made through the Flex PLT, equipment that is installed inside the tractors cockpit, with hydraulic actuation. It makes movements allowing comfort and convenience to the operator.
