2 Microbes are biomarkers of AgInputs effectiveness A living soil is the basis of sustainable agriculture. The microbial activity in the crops determines their health and yield, as well as the quality and safety of the food produced. Preserving the microbial activity of the soil of crops is the only way to achieve a sustainable and healthy future in the diet of the seven billion people that inhabit the planet. Knowing the function of soil microorganisms becomes essential to guarantee the continuity and yield of crops over time. The microbiota of agricultural soils has a key function in the availability of nutrients for plants, and in the maintenance of balance in their health status through the control of the development of pathogens and the interaction with the defense mechanisms of the plants. In addition, the biodiversity of soils, as a basis for their resistance and resilience, is crucial for the adaptation and response of crops facing the application of new agricultural practices or the appearance of adverse environmental conditions in the context of climate change. Farmers are demanding cleaner products and more transparent information of AgInputs to develop practices to promote the presence and activity of microbial species in the soil, restore the communities that sustain the crops, and therefore, promote production and food security. In order to satisfy these needs, Biome Makers leads the change towards sustainability in agriculture and pursues smarter agricultural practices by providing a deeper understanding of microbial biodiversity. We have developed a technology that allows us to indentify and measure the microbial communities of soil, to understand their role and the symbiotic relationships with other parts of the plant. The technology behind the study practices by measuring the changes using the microbial biodiversity and the correspondent biological activity of soils. It is also necessary to study at least two fields (treated and non-treated) to use a scientific proven methodology for the identification of concrete AgInputs effects. The analyses focus on: Any change in agricultural activity impacts the microbes populating the soils. This dynamic community of living beings is the natural biomarker to measure the effect of a driven change as the use of a specific fertilizer, treatment, or farming practice, independently of its nature (organic or conventional). The proprietary technology developed by Biome Makers takes advantage of disruptive DNA Sequencing and Intelligent computing to chart the full extent of soil microbial diversity and to build a more comprehensive understanding of soil microbiome interactions. In particular, Biome Makers machine learning system (VERITAS) quantifies the effect of AgInputs and farming The general effect of treatment application on the composition and structure of the soil microbiota (taxonomic biodiversity level, community resistance-resilience). The specific effects of the treatment on the abundance and distribution of microbial functional groups, and its co-relation with complementary metadata. These two approaches make possible to find relevant microbial species or groups to answer preconceived agronomical-relevant questions.

3 The sampling method BEFORE INPUT (M0) AFTER INPUT (Mn) Control (non-treated) To be treated Control (non-treated) Treated APPLICABLE TO: Any crop Any soil Several samples per time Several sampling times Useful results You will obtain a complete report measuring the impact of your agricultural product in the microbial life of your soil based on: The impact of the product on the biodiversity level (richness and evenness of microbial species) of the soil. Effect of the product on the nutrition related bioactivity of the soil. Effect of the product on the health status of the crop. Product Rating

4 Packages adapted to your needs Biome Makers has designed three alternative programs to assess the effect of a product application or farming practice in agriculture. Each program would be more convenient depending on the stage of product development or the information that you want to extract from it. All of them include the analysis of the samples collected before and after the treatment application, and the AgInput test. The following packs are conceived to be applied in an specific site divided in two s: control and treated. ESSENTIAL MASTER PREMIUM Particularly recommended for: Products in a preliminary stage of development. Farmers testing new imputs or farming practices. Product in intermediate stage of development, product dose semi-profiled. Proven effectiveness in the crop. Commercial product or close to commercialization, proven efficacy in the field. Dose determined and safety sheet of the product. Sampling times or 6 or12 Type of soils analysed: 1 1 At least1 Required samples per time and : 1 3 At least 3 Price $990 $4,975 Custom price
