THE BIDDING TEAM NATIONAL ORGANIC UNION The National Organic Union was established in 2013 by the largest Russian organic food producers: Agranta Group of Companies (11 agricultural enterprises); ARIVERA Group of Companies (2 agricultural enterprises, the largest Russian distributor of organic products), Organic Corporation (4 agricultural enterprises, retail); "Agrarian System Technologies" LLC and "Azbuka Vkusa", the largest retailer, developing organic product assortment (more than 80 supermarkets and 1 agricultural enterprise). By increasing the number of local members, the Union represents the interests of more than 70% of participants in the organic market The main objective of the Union is to provide comprehensive assistance of the formation and sustainable growth of the national organic market in Russia including the promotion of the organizational, economic, legal and social conditions necessary for the development of domestic organic agricultural production. AGRANTA Agranta Group of Companies was created in 2008 for the realization of the complex territorial development and organic agricultural production, processing and sale. The main agricultural asset - AgriVolga company in Yaroslavl region. Activity is production and sale of organic dairy and meat products, as well as cattle and sheep breeding. ARIVERA GROUP OF COMPANIES One of the leading European distributors of organic products and biocosmetics since Arivera Company was the first to produce organic groats under its own brand in Russia. Arivera Group comprises agricultural firms Biosphere (Republic of Moordovia) and Bioferma Bolotovo (Tula region), certified in accordance with the European standards for organic farming, Biostoria chain of stores, organic selective cosmetics and perfumes boutique and Biokulinar - the first Russian organic delicatessen producer. AZBUKA VKUSA Azbuka Vkusa is the Russian supermarket chain specializing in high-quality food, everyday products and alcohol founded in Today the retail chain comprises more than 80 supermarkets around Moscow and St. Petersburg. Azbuka Vkusa was the first Russian company in food retail to implement and certify a quality management system based on ISO 9001 standards. 2

3 EcoLife LLC EcoLife is a wholesale supplier of organic foods from Italy. The company is the authorized distributor of such companies as Ecor, Piu Bene, Baule Volante etc. MOSCOW CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION BUREAU The Moscow Convention and Exhibition Bureau is the city s official representative in the international meetings industry, actively involved in the promotion of Moscow as a global business, high technology and industry center. Among the Moscow Convention and Exhibition Bureau's primary aims is the promotion of Moscow as an international business hub where crucial international meetings are held. The Bureau's strategy also involves using various convention industry resources to demonstrate the Russian capital's outstanding innovative and industrial resources to the international audiences. The Moscow Convention and Exhibition Bureau is a member of the International Congress and Convention Association and the European Cities Marketing Association. The Bureau initiates business and academic events in higher-priority industries of Moscow s economy as well as acts as a coordinator of major events held by initiative of the Moscow City Government. I am, Maksimova Svetlana, a deputy of The State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and a Member of the State Duma Agrarian Issues Committee, support the bid of the National organic union of Russia for hosting IFOAM World Congress in 2020 in Moscow. In recent years Russia demonstrates high growth rates of the organic agriculture. Quantity of territories certificated for organic agriculture is constantly growing. The market of organic products is also increasing. Russia has unique natural resources and develops organic agriculture that enables Russia take one of the leading places in the organic market in the nearest future. The State Duma Agrarian Issues Committee focuses on the problems, connected with organic market development, creation of regulatory and legal framework for organic products production and turnover. We believe that IFOAM Organic World Congress 2020 in Moscow will provide a sustainable development of organic production in Russia, including support of organizational, economic, legislative and social conditions, which are important for the national organic agriculture development and cooperation with other countries in this industry. 7 Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan IFOAM World Board Dear Members of the IFOAM World Board! The Public Council for Organic Production under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan supports the bid of the National organic union of Russia for hosting 20th IFOAM World Congress in The main goal of the Council is to support organic food producing, to assist in solutions of the regulatory issues in the organic agriculture field in Republic of Tatarstan. Within the framework of Public Council activities, there was initiated a draft law on the organic food production in the Republic of Tatarstan. Annually we hold a republican seminar Organic agriculture in the Republic of Tatarstan, we are inspecting more than 40 farms. The results of these inspections show the real potential of the Republic as an organic food producer. We believe that holding IFOAM World Congress in Moscow in 2020 will become a driver for organic agricultural development in our country, will influence cooperation among enthusiasts all over the world meeting a goal objective organic agriculture development in the world. We are sure, that the participants of the congress will have a great experience in Moscow, discussing professional issues and enjoying the culture of Russia. 9 Center for Environmental Solutions of the Republic of Belarus IFOAM World Board Dear Members of the IFOAM World Board! «Center for Environmental Solutions» (Republic of Belarus) supports the initiative of the Russian National organic union for hosting IFOAM World Congress in 2020 in Moscow. We know National organic union of Russia as true professionals in organic agriculture sector, a cohesive team, which is able to hold the Congress according to the highest standards We would like to underline, that such an event has never been held in the post-soviet space before. In 2014 in Bishkek a regional branch of IFOAM-Eurasia was created by the representatives of 11 post-soviet countries. The aim of the regional alliance was to support the development of organic division in a region. Hosting the Congress in Moscow will influence its development in Russia and CIS countries. The Congress will provide increasing of the confidence among local producers and international certificate authorities and will become a trigger for new members of IFOAM-Organics International. Advancing the organic agriculture development in Belarus is a key goal of the Center for Environmental Solutions since During this time 4 international academic and research conferences on organic agriculture were initiated and organized together with the Ministry of agriculture and food of Republic of Belarus. Also there was submitted a proposal for the draft law of Belarus regarding producing and conversion of organic products. «Center for Environmental Solutions» is a member of IFOAM-Eurasia regional alliance since We believe that holding of such a Congress in Russia may be one of the IFOAM-Eurasia joint projects.
