2 BARREN COWS & OLD BULLS 37 A trade which would be comparable to last week. A shortage of well fleshed cows with plenty of bonus on offer which is not surprising considering the year. Prices were as follows:- Grade 1 Cows to 125.5p av p Grade 2 Cows to 127.5p av p Grade 3 Cows to 117.5p av p Grade 4 Cows to 108.5p av. 77.5p Overall average 97.8p FINISHED SHEEP 3,147 A lamb trade which has taken a bit of a battering again. 9 CONDITIONS Entries of stock for prize sales will only be accepted from exhibitors who have sold stock on at least three occasions at any of our fat or store auctions during the previous twelve months. First and second prize winners in single cattle classes may not compete as pairs. Prize winning animals must be bona fide sold under the hammer otherwise the prize money will be witheld.
