13 Our strategy 12

14 14

15 Our vision for the post-quota period Our strategic focuses We led last year a strategical analysis : Sodiaal 2020 We had many discussions with our farmers on this vision 1 FOCUS FOCUS 2 FOCUS 3 FOCUS 4 Be an efficient and successful group Improve our competitiveness on our domestic market Resolutely take our place in international growth Unite the dairy cooperative to the benefit of its members The extreme volatility of the market will push us to develop our agility and ability to act together to ensure we add as much value as possible to our milk. A large proposition of our milk will still be consumed in Europe. This large domestic market is subject to intense competition which may well intensify with the lifting of the quotas and the power of the larger customers. This market will nonetheless be balanced by a strained world market situation. We are keen to seek out added value in countries where dairy product consumption is growing. For exports, our cooperative model is essentially based on products manufactured from our members milk The notion of critical mass will be crucial If we are to continue following our major customers and counterbalance the effects of volatility. 13

16 Focus on ourmain currentchallenge : volatility! Our vision : four levels to manage the milk prices " hyper- volatility Done Double volume / double price system Short term Fixed price contrats connected with futures market Medium term Derivatives contracts(fixed price and guaranteed margin) connected with long term contracts with clients Long term Margin insurance 15
