2 2018 Conservation Cropping Seminars Sponsor / Exhibitor Invite The Illinois Department of Agriculture is proud to continue the Illinois Conservation Cropping Seminars in The Conservation Cropping Seminars will consist of three one-day meetings located in Kankakee (January 23 rd ), Olney (January 24 th ) and Peoria (January 25 th ). This year s planning committee consists of Illinois Department of Agriculture (Bureau of Land and Water); USDA NRCS; Local County Soil and Water Conservation Districts; American Farmland Trust; and the Illinois Stewardship Alliance, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. Discussion topics at all meetings include: - Soil Health Perspective - Water Quality - Nutrient Efficiency - Conservation Cropping Systems - Weed Management - Cover Crops - Strip-Till / No-Till - Networking Draft agendas for each site are posted on Tentative schedules start at 8:00 AM and conclude at 4:30 PM with a Speakers Meet and Greet social hour from 3:30 4:30 PM. Lunch is included. We will apply for CCA credits and will keep registrants informed.
