PE/PP Market Updates:- Today PP and LLDPE future Prices in China rose by 3% amid short covering and higher Spot Prices, as SE Asian and ME Producers are reluctant to lower their offers for June shipment. Domestic buying should pick up due to rollover of Prices. International Offers for China:- Traders quoted PP Raffia from Reliance at US $1,325/MT, T/T, CFR Ningbo for May shipment. Traders quoted PP from Reliance at US $1,400/MT, L/C at sight, CFR Huangpu for June shipment. Traders quoted PP Fiber from Oman at US $1,350/MT, L/C at sight, CFR Huangpu for June shipment. Traders quoted PP Injection from Reliance at US $1,330/MT, LC at sight, CFR Huangpu for May shipment. Traders quoted PP Copol from Thailand SCG at US $1,400/MT, L/C at sight, CFR Huangpu for June shipment. Traders quoted HDPE from Saudi Arabia at US $1,350/MT, L/C at sight, CFR Qingdao for June arrival. Petrochemical Plant News:- Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical intends to shut its LLDPE Plant in end of July 2015 for around 30 days in Nanjing, China with production capacity of 200,000 MT/Year. Hyundai Cosmo intends to restart its Aromatic Plant in first week of June after maintenance. The Plant is located in Daesan, South Korea with the production capacity of 1.18 MT/Year of Para Xylene and 250,000 MT/Year of Benzene.

2 Iran s Amir Kabir intends to shut its LDPE Unit for maintenance of 30 days by month end. The Unit has production capacity of 300,000 Ton/Year. ExxonMobil Chemical has shut its Ethylene Plant due to Compressor trip. The Plant is located at Beaumont, Texas with the production capacity of 816,000 Ton/Year. Miscellaneous News:- Shell has resume operation at the Trans Nigeria Pipeline that feeds bonny light Crude Oil on May 16, 2015 and was closed due to leak with production capacity of 180,000 b/d. Naphtachimie has shut its Olefins Plant due to fire at its central power on May 17. The Plant is located in Lavara, South France with the production capacity of 740,000 MT/Year. Pemex is in plans of selling its Refinery and Petrochemical business and intends to invest in exploration and production. Royal Dutch Shell intends to sell its LPG Business to DCC Energy for around Euro 464 Million ($ 519 Million). UAE Borouge intends to raise the capacity of its third phase by about 4.5 Million Ton/Year of Polyolefins and the Plant will come online by US Butadiene (BD) Contracts increased by 7 Cents/lb for June. Manali Petrochemical Ltd intends to invest Rs. 100 Crore to triple its capacity from 50,000 Ton/Year to 150,000 Ton/Year. The first Phase of expansion to 75,000 Ton/Year is expected to complete by March Daelim Industrial and Daewoo Engineering & Construction have received an order of 3.5 Trillion to construct a Petrochemicals Complex for S-Oil which will include a Residue Upgrading Complex and an Olefins production Complex at the Ulsan, South Korea. LyondellBasell has appointed Mr. Daniel M. Coombs as New Vice President. Repsol has announced Force Majeure on Ethylene and Butadiene supply located in Tarragona, Spain. Trinseo intends to restart its PS Unit. The Unit is located in Tessenderlo, Belgium. Ineos has declared Force Majeure on the supplies of PP and HDPE from its facility located in Lavera, France.
