7 Planet = Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship By conserving farmland and accommodating local food within development projects, developers and their partners can support the responsible use of limited resources while at the same time leveraging consumer demand for sustainable development outcomes.

8 Profit = Economic Value of Food and Farming In recent years, residents of the United States have shown increasing awareness of, and demand for, high-quality foods that are consistent with healthy lifestyles. This shift in preferences has consequences for the real estate industry because developers have an opportunity to leverage food as a development focus while addressing health and environmental goals.

10 AGRITOURISM A form of commercial enterprise that links agricultural production and/or processing with tourism in order to attract visitors onto a farm, ranch, or other agricultural business for the purposes of entertaining and/or educating the visitors and generating income for the farm, ranch, or business owner.
