2 Soybean R7 Management Trials Soybean trials were conducted using two different management systems, Gold and Silver. The Gold Trials refer to the intense management and the Silver Trials refer to the standard management. These trials were conducted on two different Croplan soybean varieties, RT 0878 and RT The RT 0878 is a Defensive varietry while the RT 1077 is an offensive variety. Each was tested using 4 different planting populations. Listed below are the management practices for the Gold and Silver trials and the cost of those inputs. 4 Fungicide Trials in Soybeans Fungicides were applied at R3 stage to two Croplan soybean varieties, RT 0878 and RT Fungicides were applied at 12 gallons of water / acre with 6 oz / acre of Powerlock. 5 Soygreen Trials in Soybeans Five trials were conducted using Soygreen Chelated Iron in-furrow and as a foliar treatment. The in-furrow was applied at 2 gallons of water per pound of Soygreen. The foliar treatment was applied at 5 gallons of water per pound of Soygreen. Asgrow s 1102 soybean was used for the trial. Soygreen is valued at $7.50 / lb. 6 Innoculant Trials in Soybeans To show the effects of Soybean Innoculant, Croplan RT 0995 was used to replicate trials. Vault HP innoculant was applied to the treated soybeans at 2 oz / CWT. This treatment at 150,000 plants / acre carries an input cost of $3.52 / acre. This trial was placed in a re-crop soybean situation. 7 Residual Herbicide Trials in Soybeans To compare the efficacy and longevity of soybean residual herbicides, six different herbicides were tested. All PRE-emerge herbicides were applied 2 days after planting. The standard treatment, Cornerstone 5, was applied two times in crop. The PRE Emerge trials were applied at 10 gallons of water per acre. Glyphosate was applied at 5 gallons of water / acre.
