2 You are invited to join us... at the 3rd Annual UCVM Beef Cattle Conference. This two-day conference will address important current beef industry issues. Topics to be presented this year include: Updates on current bovine disease issues Beef cattle health and welfare Nutrition and health of beef cattle New this year the conference will adjourn after lunch on day 2. In the afternoon we are offering an interactive workshop on mineral feeding and a tour of our Spy Hill campus. This conference will be of particular interest to producers, veterinarians, researchers and other beef industry stakeholders. Speakers this year include internationally-recognized researchers from both UCVM and Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in Saskatoon, as well as beef industry veterinarians and consultants, such as Lyle Lester, Alberta Fish and Wildlife; Bruce Feinberg, McDonald s Corporation; and Dr. Reynold Bergen, Canadian Cattlemen s Association. The UCVM Beef Cattle Conference is being held on June 20 th and 21 st, 2013 at the Coast Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre in Calgary, Alberta.
