Introducing Polygro GR PolyGro SA introduces Polygro GR, a water-retaining hydro polymer enriched with balanced fertilizers - N.P.K - and other trace elements. Polygro GR has a high capacity to optimize the needs and development of plants. Polygro GR 's semi-permeable polymeric membrane allows a quick absorption of liquids which are released slowly and in small quantities to plants as needed. Polygro GR contains N.P.K and other trace elements that include Boron, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Molybdenum and Zinc.

Why to use Polygro GR? South African agriculture was affected due to droughts and consequently water shortages for several years. Climate change fosters this situation. In order to maintain the long-term productivity of the land agricultural practices demand for smarter, sustainable and more efficient solutions to maintain or increase yields at minimum costs. Most of South Africa's land consists of dry and sandy soil - these soils have high infiltration rates and a low water-holding capacity which leads to min. 70% of irrigation water being wasted. Polygro GR is a sustainable solution to this problem - a natural waterretaining fertilizer that continuously supplies the plant with the moisture and nutrients it requires.

What is it and how does Polygro GR work? Polygro GR is a granulate that consists of cellulose, organic fertilizer and 5% polymer granulate. Polygro GR can absorb water up to 500 times its original weight by creating nodules or water pockets along the plants roots. These nodules act like micro sponges that release moisture and fertilizer directly and continuously to the roots of the plant over a prolonged period of time. Polygro GR reduces the irrigation requirements of crops and plants. In other markets irrigation was reduced by 50-80% and fertilizer by 30-50%. Polygro GR increases the size of roots which leads to better resistance to diseases and insects and improves nutrition and productivity in terms of quality and quantity of yields.

What is it and how does Polygro GR work? Polygro GR takes the shape of pellets that look like fine light green crystals. Composed on an ecological nad naturally biodegradeable material, the pellets are also full of nutritional elements and fertilizers that promote plant growth. Every grain of Polygro GR acts like an extremely powerful sponge capable of storing enormous quantities of water. Then, through the roots grafted on Polygro GR, it progressively feeds back water and nourishment to the plant.

Benefits of Polygro GR COST SAVING up to 50% to 80% Water savings up to 50% Energy saving on electricity (pumps and supply) up to 30% to 50% Fertilizer savings Reduces operating costs Increases production yields INCOME Increases significant yield gains up to 200% Decreases growth period Increases crop quality EFFICIENCY Reduces dependence on rain Improves resistance to drought and disease Increase of crop cycles per season due to accelerated growth Promotes germination, re-growth and development of plants

Benefits of Polygro GR TECHNICAL BENEFITS PH values of 6.5 to 7.0 Improved vertical root development of plants Grafts and creates osmosis with plants Increases root mass of plants up to 300% to 500% Suppresses root stress of plants Contains N.P.K 3% balanced and trace elements ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS 92% Organic composition 100% Bio-degradable over 5 years Ability to recreate soil fertility

Fields of Application Due to its natural qualities and versatility, Polygro GR is suitable for a wide variety of applications: Agriculture Horticulture Reforestation Nurseries Landscaping

The Product Polygro GR Granulometry: Granulates P.H: Saturation times: 3 Hours Retention rate: 160 g 500 g Fertilizers: N.P.K Trace elements: Bo, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mo, Zn Use period: All year round Conditioning: 10 kg and 25 kg bags Polygro GR comes in the form of granulates.
