Determine the effectiveness of VIUSID Agro application on Sugar Cane. 2. Determine the yield component on Sugar Cane cultivation after the application of VIUSID Agro. 3. Determine farming cost benefit ratio on Sugar Cane cultivation after the application of VIUSID Agro. Treatment : Completely Randomized Block Design with 6 treatment doses of fertilizer and 3 Replication. Each treatment consists of 10 segments (row of planted area), length o f e a c h segments is 16 m. Total segments (lines) used are 180 segments (lines). PLANT POPULATION PER SEGMENT (LINE) Table 2. 10 Table 2. Average plant pouplation per segment on its effect of Viusid Agro Application and control at Farm A.7 - HGU Jengkol, PG Pesantren Baru based on the developement on the plants at the age of 9 months. (Cont d) Plant Age (Month) 9 Remarks: Treatment Group VIUSID Agro Water Manure (ton ha -1 ) Inorganic Fertilizer (%) Plant Population per Segment Control (K) ,89 a P1 1, ,44 a P2 1, ,11 a P3 1, ,89 a P4 1, ,44 a P5 1, ,22 a Ns Numbers that are accompanied by the same letter at the same age showed no significant different based by Duncan test at the level of p = 0.05 ; ns = not significant. As seen from above table, at the age of 6 months, treatment group P2 (Viusid Agro + 75% of inorganic fertiliser) have shown significant difference in terms of producing greater number of plant population compared to other treatment group. However, although in statistically calculation shows no significant differences among each treatment groups, but all treatment group shows better performance than control group with the range of +7% until +15% in number of population. The best performance shown from treatment group P3.
PLANTS POPULATION PER HECTARE Table 3. Average pupulation per hectare on its effect of Viusid Agro Application and control at Farm A.7 - HGU Jengkol, PG Pesantren Baru based on the developement on the plants at the age of 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months. Plant Age (Month) Remarks: Treatment Group VIUSID Agro Water Manure (ton ha -1 ) Inorganic Fertilizer (%) Plants Population per Hectare Control (K) ,67 a P1 1, ,00 a P2 1, ,00 a P3 1, ,33 a P4 1, ,33 a P5 1, ,67 a Ns Control (K) ,22 a P1 1, ,44 ab P2 1, ,89 b P3 1, ,67 ab P4 1, ,89 ab P5 1, ,67 ab 9.614,42 Control (K) ,78 a P1 1, ,89 ab P2 1, ,22 ab P3 1, ,78 b P4 1, ,89 ab P5 1, ,44 ab ,48 Numbers that are accompanied by the same letter at the same age showed no significant different based by Duncan test at the level of p = 0.05 ; ns = not significant. As shown from the table above, significant different are found at the plants were 6 months and 9 months old. At 6 months old, treatment group P2 shows significant different against control, by showing +19% more plants population per hectare. While it does not showed any significant difference against other treated group that are using Viusid Agro. In summary, at the age of 6 months, all Viusid Agro treated groups are performing more superior compared to control. At 9 months old, P3 shows more superior in terms of number of plants population per hectare. Indeed, the as shown from the table above, the total number of population per hectare in each treatment group and control are showing diminishing trend. This declining population figures occurred after removing plants that are having unproductive stem. However, the average declining rates for all population from each treated group (no of population at month 3 vs month 9) (-27%) is not fast as the decline that shown from control group (-34%). Hence, for the time being, it can be concluded that Viusid Agro will generate more number of plants compared to control and it will reduce the number of unproductive plants.
STEM HEIGHT Table 4. Stem height average on the effect of Viusid Agro Application and control at Farm A.7 - HGU Jengkol, PG Pesantren Baru based on the development on the plants at the age of 6 months, and 9 months. Plant Age (Month) 6 9 Remarks: Treatment Group VIUSID Agro Water Manure (ton ha -1 ) Inorganic Fertilizer (%) Stem Height Control (K) ,44 a P1 1, ,00 abc P2 1, ,00 abc P3 1, ,11 c P4 1, ,67 ab P5 1, ,11 abc 16,67 Control (K) ,56 bc P1 1, ,22 c P2 1, ,33 c P3 1, ,00 bc P4 1, ,33 ab P5 1, ,56 a 19,18 Numbers that are accompanied by the same letter at the same age showed no significant different based by Duncan test at the level of p = 0.05 ; ns = not significant. As shown for the above table, treatment group P3 shows the highest stem with significantly different figure compared to other treated groups and control (+11% against control). However, according to observation at the age of 9 months, all treatment groups are having similar height except for P5, which is the group that only use Viusid Agro without any application of inorganic fertilizers.
STEM DIAMETER Table 5. average stem diameter on the effect of Viusid Agro Application and control at Farm A.7 - HGU Jengkol, PG Pesantren Baru based on the development on the plants at the age of 6 months, and 9 months. Plant Age (Month) 6 9 Remarks: Treatment Group VIUSID Agro Water Manure (ton ha -1 ) Inorganic Fertilizer (%) Stem Diameter Control (K) ,56 ab P1 1, ,89 ab P2 1, ,78 ab P3 1, ,78 ab P4 1, ,33 a P5 1, ,22 b 0,87 Control (K) ,67 a P1 1, ,33 c P2 1, ,67 bc P3 1, ,89 bc P4 1, ,56 bc P5 1, ,00 bc 3,31 Numbers that are accompanied by the same letter at the same age showed no significant different based by Duncan test at the level of p = 0.05 ; ns = not significant. Based on the data collected at 6 months, significant different are found between treatment group P4 and P5. Indeed in P5 (treatment group that is cultivate without using any inorganic fertilizers) were showing the biggest diameter compared to any other groups. But at the month 9, all treatment group are having bigger stem diameter compared to control group, which treatment group P1 have shown the biggest diameter compared to control. There is no significant found among all of treatment groups.
STEM BRIX Table 6. Stem brix average diameter on the effect of Viusid Agro Application and control at Farm A.7 - HGU Jengkol, PG Pesantren Baru based on the development on the plants at the age of 9 months. Plant Age (Month) 9 Remarks: Treatment Group VIUSID Agro Water Manure (ton ha -1 ) Inorganic Fertilizer (%) Stem Brix Control (K) ,03 b P1 1, ,54 a P2 1, ,64 ab P3 1, ,87 ab P4 1, ,70 ab P5 1, ,89 ab 0,39 Numbers that are accompanied by the same letter at the same age showed no significant different based by Duncan test at the level of p = 0.05 ; ns = not significant. On this indicator, significant different exist between treatment group P1 and control, while there is not significant difference found among control and any other treatment group. All plants during this age are still producing brix, hence it is unfair to have early conclusion. SUMMARY According to all data that have been collected at the age of 9 months, Viusid Agro administration have proven to produce more population compared to control, having bigger stems compared to control. In plant height perspective, we can conclude that this variety of sugar cane have reached their optimum height as proven in the data that all groups are having similar height. While in brix parameters, according to PTPN X it is unfair to give any conclusion at the moment for this parameter as all of groups are still producing the brix, hence another observation will be taken place prior harvest at month 12.
