Government including District Governments with enough number of Competent Food Inspectors and Extension Workers will be able to Control and Improve Food Safety Better Quality and Safer Foods Food Producers (SMEs in particular) are able to produce better quality and safer foods based on their awareness in food safety Awareness of Consumers in food safety increase so they are able to use their right in getting better quality and safer foods 11

12 Realizing that Handling of Food Safety from Farm to Table is a Complex Process involving various Related Institutions there is a Need to Develop An Integrated Food Safety System How did we do that? Started with a Need Assessment based on WHO Model on Food Safety Strategy and Mapping the Structure of National Agency of Drug and Food Control, Republic of Indonesia on that Model 12
