1 Cropland Enhancement Bundle BCR03 Cropland Enhancement Bundle #3 This bundle of enhancement activities includes SOE01-Continuous No-till, WQL07-Split N Application, WQL10-Cover Crop to Scavenge N, WQL13-High Level IPM and one of the buffer widening enhancements ANM04, ANM05, ANM06 or ANM07. If an applicant does not currently have buffers, they can install buffers to meet the requirements of the buffer widening enhancements in order to qualify for this bundle. Land Use Applicability Cropland Benefits This bundle of enhancement activities is focused on activities to reduce the impact of agricultural nutrients and pesticides through the use of no-till, cover crops, and proper nitrogen and pesticide management. The inclusion of one of the buffering widening practices will provide further protection of offsite areas from the impact of agricultural operations. By implementing these activities together a synergy is achieved that should result in more conservation benefits than might be expected from the individual activities. Applicants that choose to implement this bundle of activities will receive an increase in ranking and payment points. Rules for Enhancement Activity Bundles All of the activities in the bundle must be implemented. However, if an applicant is already implementing 1 or 2 of the activities, they are still eligible for the bundle and only need to implement the remaining 3 or 4 activities. Applicants will be required to install all enhancements in the bundle wherever they are needed on the applied area. Other enhancements cannot be substituted for those in the bundles. Applicants can choose how many acres of their operation they want to implement the bundle on. However, if the applicant chooses to implement the activity on only a portion of their operation their ranking points and payment points will be reduced. 2 For this bundle, implement SOE01, WQL07, WQL10 and WQL13 according to their respective criteria on all of the area selected for bundle application. Implement the buffer widening enhancements ANM04, ANM05, ANM06 or ANM07 where needed according to the criteria for the respective enhancements. If a buffer is needed to address a resource concern but does not exist, the requirements of this bundle can be met by installing a new buffer to the minimum width required by these enhancements. Documentation Requirements Follow the documentation requirements in the respective enhancement activity sheets to document the implementation of each enhancement. 3 Cropland Enhancement Bundle BCR02 Cropland Enhancement Bundle #2 This bundle of enhancement activities includes ENR05-Locally Grown and Marketed Farm Products, WQL16-Legumes as an N Source, SQL02-Continuous Cover Crops, WQL13-High Level IPM or WQL21- IPM for Organic Farming, PLT01- Pollinator Habitat or PLT08 - Beneficial Insect Habitat. Land Use Applicability Cropland Benefits This bundle of enhancement activities is focused on activities that should lead to more sustainable agriculture. These activities all reduce fossil fuel usage while providing a more sustainable agricultural environment. The inclusion of either the pollinator or beneficial insect habitat will provide pollination services for the farm or reduce the reliance on pesticides. By implementing these activities together a synergy is achieved that should result in more conservation benefits than might be expected from the individual activities. Applicants that choose to implement this bundle of activities will receive an increase in ranking and payment points.
