Animals thrive on lush grass, crystal-clear water and fresh air, and local farming methods are non-intensive. Beef carcasses are matured for a minimum of 14 days, then boned, vacuum packed and labelled prior to dispatch. Tender spring lamb, delicious highland venison from selected game dealers, award-winning black pudding and haggis are prepared with care and attention to detail. Our 70-year history has seen us grow into the leading fresh meat supplier in the North, blending traditional values of good service and value for money with modern production methods and skills.

Our modern specialist lamb abattoir processes up to 10,000 lambs per week under strict hygiene conditions, controlled through a HACCP system. Our location in the Scottish Lowlands gives us access to high grade lambs from traditionally managed sheep farms; we have also gained certification from the Soil Association for the production of Organic lamb. Lamb carcases are constantly monitored to ensure they are of the finest quality, and a traceability system allows the origin of the products to be identified during all stages of processing. Distribution of our fresh-chilled lamb carcases, primal cuts and offal, to all areas of Europe, is carried out by our own modern fleet of specially designed temperature controlled containers; this allows us to maintain full control of our product throughout production from farm to customer.
