Based on Korean artisanal craftsmanship, Hando Food processes home-grown grains (such as white rice, barley and brown rice) to make scorched rice. These items are traditional Korean snacks made of homegrown grains, bringing back memories of homemade snacks and a nostalgia for simpler times. Scorched rice was one of the most popular snacks among Koreans several decades ago when people were not very affluent. Hando Food uses home-grown agricultural products to bring back traditional snacks produced in a same manner to promote the consumption of regional agricultural products and healthy snacks. Most of the nutrients concentrate downwards during the cooking process, leading to a snack that is rich in nutrients.
