The monetary figures shown herein are indicators of gross farm value, and should not be used to estimate net farm income. In some cases the cost of producing the crop may even be greater than the gross value, thus resulting in a net loss to the farmer. Unseasonably late rains interferred with the planting and pollination of many crops, thereby causing a reduction in total farm value.
