9 how it works.. This is a use case flow of a farmer registering onto the FRMS system via a field officer. 1 ENTER MR. FARMER 2 FIELD OFFICER REGISTRATION A farmer wishing to benefit from a program or other stakeholders farming inputs scheme approaches a field officer wanting to register. Using the Farma mpos on their. mobile device, the field officer captures the farmers personal, farm details and KYC information. Data is immediately submitted and stored in the cloud FRMS database. Farmer is now registered and their full details visible to the program sponsor and all stakeholders for approval of any available input and support schemes that maybe available. Farmer is requested to pay their annual membership fee via cash, card or mobile money. Once received, the farmer immediately receives their unique FRMS membership number for future use. FARMER 2 FARMER AUTHENTICATION A registered farmer receives an SMS notifying them of their approved value of inputs on a specific scheme and date to collect. The farmer arrives at the collection point with their ID document. Using the Farma mpos on their mobile device, the field officer request the farmers FRMS membership no and authenticates with the farmers ID. Real-time reports are instantly made available to program sponsors and it stakeholders on inventory stock levels, tracking distribution targets and geolocation. The system notifies the field officer of the farmers approved input allocation limit. Using the inventory management module in the mpos, the field officer disburses the inputs to the farmer. The farmer is now delivering their produce to their designated local depot for processing and payment Using the Farma mpos on their mobile device, the depot personnel capture the quantity and other pertinent data of the farmers produce which is directly populated into the FRMS central database. Real-time reports are instantly made available to the program sponsors and it stakeholders on out-put produce received, farmer performance and return on investment. Using the Farma mpos, the depot staff record and authorise payments due to the farmer for disbursement via Bank transfers, Mobile Money and or Cash where available.
