1 Integrated Pest Management Program Department of Plant Science and Landscape Arcitecture UConn Extension Rainfastness of Insectides: June 21, 2015 Mary Concklin, Visiting Associate Extension Educator - Fruit Production & IPM You may be wondering after te rain tis weekend weter your applation is still working. Dr, Jon Wise at Migan State University as developed te following carts for tree fruit and berries w sould be elpful as you decide weter a re-applation is needed before you ad originally planned. Based on results from current studies, te following carts ave been developed to serve as a guide for general rainfastness caracterists and re-applation recommendations for certain insect pests (also printed in te 2015 Migan Fruit Management Guide, E0154). Note tat tese recommendations sould not supersede label restrtions or farm-level knowledge based on site-specif pest scouting, but rater are meant to compliment a compreensive pest management decision-making process.
