Before sowing seeds are to be treated with fungicides. Go for pre-emergence spraying of 0.75 Kg. a.i /ha one day after. Apply the recommended dose of fertilizer as basal.. Sow the seeds in lines at 30X 10 cm spacing for green gram, black gram and pea and 25X8 cm for horse gram For thrips in chilli and leaf hopper in cowpea spray Acetamiprid 20% SC OR Flonicamid 50%WG OR Pymetrozyne 50% 1g/3 lit of water. Apply soil test based fertilizer dose to the crops. Add sticker to the spray solution for better result. For early cultivation of vegetables, nursery beds should be prepared in raised bed with proper drainage facility and with polythene cover. Make adequate drainage channels in upland crop fields. Grow kharif vegetables like brinjal, ridge gourd and bhendi etc. in kitchen garden or nutritional garden. Go for Deworming of all the pet animals. To control fungal wilt in vegetables, spray 1.5 g Carbendazim in each litre water. To control sucking pest in okra spray 1ml/l of water and 1ml/2l of water alternately in 7-10 days interval. Grow vegetables in uplands like Lady s finger, Cowpea, Cauliflower, Cluster bean, Brinjal, Tomato and chillies. Drain out excess water from the vegetable nursery. It is time to go for pisciculture as the reservoirs are now full of water and Collect fingerlings. After releasing the fingerlings in the ponds keep a bag full of FYM or paddy husk. Depending upon the size of the ponds, apply 5-10 kg of limes to newly developed pisciculture Vegetables-In nursery, increase in temperature and rainfall is favourable for Damping off disease in vegetables. To avoid damping off seed treatment should be done. Seed treatment with Carboxin + Thiram (Vitavax-trade name)@2gm/kg of seeds. If the disease is shown in nursery beds then soil drenching with Bavistin@ 2gm/ltr of water should be done. PLANT PROTECTION IN RICE -Swarming caterpillar has been found in rice. Apply Chloropyriphos around the bunds of the affected field to prevent the entry of pest to the unaffected field. Spray 400 ml Chloropyriphos in 200 litre water per acre in the afternoon hour. High humidity, low temperature and cloudy weather favours the infestation of blast. So to control it, spray 1 g Beam and 1.5 g Hinosan in 2 litre twice at 15 days interval. Bacterial Leaf blight has been found. Spray 20 g Cupper Oxychloride along with 10 g

2 Plantomycine in 20 litre water. Stem borer infestation has been found. To control stem borer, spray 1. 5 ml Phosphamidon per litre Livestock:. Animal sheds should be kept clean and dry and be disinfected by fumigation and white washing with lime. Clean and sufficient drinking water should be made available.provide adequate clean drinking water; provide sufficient green forage to the animals and timely deworming should be done.provide sufficient clean drinking water to animals.in upland areas sufficient fodder crop production should be encouraged to provide green forage to the animals during the kharif season.
