2 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 1. Duration: 2008-Till to date... Organization: United Power Generation and Distribution Company Ltd. (An Enterprise of United Group) Designation: Manager (Operation) Managing Operation of 70 MWel (2 x 35 MW GE Frame 6) Gas Turbine Power Plant. Authorized for 11/132 kv switching and follow-up on defect clearance. Submitting incident/trip reports and to provide recommendations. Supervises, coordinates, trains and ensure safe, efficient and economical operation of the power plant and associated facilities. Operation of Two Gas Turbine (2 x 35 MW Gas Turbine GE, France) power generation units as per the assigned area, safely as per established procedure & agreed planning schedule and ensure the availability and production targets. Involves isolation & normalization of system for enabling the maintenance to carry out their work - results in safety to men & machinery. Organizing the use of man power in better utilization ensures effective implementation of safety & discipline. Check and review the operating conditions and records in order to investigate the weak and troublesome point in advance of any occurrence. Maintain the operating equipment and facilities in sound and clean condition. Responsible for monitoring and operating the plant / equipment from the central control boards and optimize plant operation. Responsible for satisfactory operation of the assigned plant (Turbine, Generator) with the appointed crew. Supervise, instruct and co-ordinate with the assigned crew efficiency and effectively fulfill their job functions and assignments Responding to all station emergencies, like fire, loss of generation, black out and any other incidents as per the set guidelines. Follow safety rules and ensure close adherence to the safety, environment and quality requirements. 2. Duration: Organization: (LIPPS)- A Joint Venture company of LI Germany (O& M agent of 140 MW Mymensingh Power Plant) Designation: Deputy Manager (O&M) Managing O&M of 140 MWel Mymensingh Power Plant. Day to day maintenance, repair and trouble shooting of all Electro-Mechanical Control Systems of 140 MW Mymensingh Power Plant. Inspection various types of Electro-Mechanical Control systems and plant auxiliaries, H.V. & L.V. Switchgears and 132 KV Sub-Station equipment plus their Control and Protection 140 MW Mymensingh Power Plant. Fault diagnosis and trouble shooting of MARK-V SPEEDTRONIC Turbine Control System, DCS, MICROREC SUPERVISION and PCS-7 SUPERVISION Systems of Power Plant. Extensively involved in all the scheduled major inspections (CI Combustion Inspection & HGPI Hot Gas Path Inspection) so far carried out in the Power. Duration: Organization: Rural Power Company Ltd. (Owner of the 140 MW Mymensingh Power Plant) Designation: Assistant Manager (Technical) Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Administration. Gas Sales Agreement (GSA) Administration. Tariff Analysis, Future Project Planning. Quarterly Environmental monitoring of Power Plant. Supervision of EPC Project Implementation. Development and preparation of Techno-Economic feasibility study for new project. To study the Contact Document, Technical Specification, Drawing & Project Schedule. Monitor and involve all types of testing and commissioning of main plant machinery, auxiliaries of the plant, other mechanical system and equipment etc. Study and follow up all system and interconnecting drawings of the project related to Mechanical, Civil and Electrical system. Responsible for supervising entire Mechanical erection, fabrication including some civil activities as delegated. Follow-up and involve in all activities of Mechanical / I & C / Electrical work-shops at project site. Maintaining and preserving all the project records and documents receive from EPC-Contract. Quality control of all electrical / machinery / spare-parts etc supplied under EPC- Contract. Preparation of daily progress report of the project and involve in day-to-day activities related to all mechanical systems. 4. Duration: Organization: (LIPPS)- A Joint Venture company of LI Germany (O& M agent of 140 MW Mymensingh Power Plant) Designation: Junior Shift Engineer (Mechanical) Start up and shut down of GT (4 X 35.5 MW) and operate GT in safe manner. Take necessary data for fault finding and assist maintenance person. Take system in shutdown to take necessary step for removing problem. Experience in the operation of 132kV interconnected network using FOX 6plus Compact Link Computer Literacy, good communication skills. Monitor network parameters and interchanges and execute coordination with connected networks to ensure safe and reliable operation of the grid. Coordinate with LDC's for the control of generation, frequency, and schedule energy exchanges. Maintain Logbook & records, prepare reports and provide network information. I have adroit to check all the Mechanical auxiliaries (GE Alsthom Frame 6001 B gas turbine) system whether they are working or not in the plant and the balance of plant, as well as find out the cause of any mechanical related problems. During Combustion Inspection (C.I) or Hot Gas path inspection (HGPI) with the assist of Maintenance Company M/s. Thomassen Turbine Systems (The Netherlands). I have to install Combustions chamber, Transition pieces, Turbine Bucket and nozzle (1st, 2nd, 3rd Stages GE Alsthom Frame 6001 B 35.5 X 4 MW gas turbines) etc. Page 3
