3 The situa,on of Chinese feed industry in 2013 The total production of meat, egg and dairy products was estimated to be 85.4 million MT, 28.8 million MT and 35.3 million MT, respectively. The total production of feed in 2013 is 193 million MT including complete feeds, concentrate feeds and premix. The total feed production for hogs, layers, broilers, aquaculture species and ruminant were 84.1 million, 30.4 million, 49.5 million, 18.6 million, and 7.9 million, respectively. Ferret, 20 million; fox, 12 million; raccoon dogs 800,000 heads- Fur bearing animal feeds ~1 million Pet food production was 650,000 MT. Fish meal import was 903,655 MT, 25.8% increase over 2012.
