3 Aquaponics Institute Events Discover Aquaponics Come join Murray Hallam for a day of what Aquaponics is all about. Murray will teach the basic skills you will need to understand and build an Aquaponics system. He will present the different methods of Aquaponics practiced today and when to best use them Class sessions will include: water quality, fish choices, management and handling, how to feed and care for your fish, how to choose plants appropriate for your climate, and Growing to grow from seedling to harvest. 4-Day Training Come join Murray Hallam and the Agroponicos farm team in Puerto Rico from October 29th to November 1st. We will be teaching four days of Small Commercial Aquaponics Farming. Experience many workshops and hands-on training at Agroponicos farm, with the extraordinary farmers and fish wranglers. Learn seed planning and planting, as well as planting out. Pedro and Jorge Casas will teach you how to harvest and pack, for sales and delivery to restaurants and grocery stores. Both Murray Hallam and the Agroponicos farm team will instruct you at the farm and in the classroom. These classes will include how the Agroponicos farm was built and is actively managed. Murray will also instruct us on the technologies of farming with Aquaponics. October 29 to November 1, 2013 Aquaponics Connect Murray Hallam is the Founder and Dean of the Aquaponics Institute and best-known international authority teaching Aquaponics today. Come Learn and Connect with the Future of Aquaponics Farming, with its Leading Pioneers and Students. Starting registration on Friday night, at 4:30 pm at the Interamerican University, Metro Campus, Puerto Rico. On Saturday, November 2nd, both Murray Hallam and Charlie Shultz will start the day with Keynote talks about Aquaponics today. Following the Keynotes will be the featured speakers: Glenn Martinez of Olomana Gardens; author of The Complete Idiot s Guide to Aquaponic Gardening, Meg Stout; Michael McGee from Caribe Fisheries, Puerto Rico & brother s Jorge & Pedro Casas from Agropónicos Cosecha de Puerto Rico. All the keynoters and featured speakers will join together as a panel for a question-answer session. Following dinner, Meg Stout will build an Aquaponics system and greenhouse in under two hours. Beginning on Sunday morning you will have over 18 presentations and workshops to choose from throughout the day. November 2 & 3, 2013

We have the support of a diverse fan base with over 4200 followers: Media Exposure The Institute was part of the most important agriculture Fair in PR, Agropolis, during June 12-16, 2013 we impacted over 15,000 people. Also during the weekend we've been present at the Mercado Urbano in San Juan. Full media exposure for the official Training and Connect, two local TV channels (Wapa TV & Channel 6)and the main local newspaper (El Nuevo Día), will be daily covering the events. At the campus we expect to reach up to 10,000 people.
