Here at Agrowplow, soil care and innovation drives our team. Everyday we are committed to pursuing and developing the latest innovation in Soil Care products for improved, sustainable agriculture. The origins of Agrowplow began with the observation and concern about the devastating effects of conventional cultivation and sowing techniques have caused erosion by wind and rain and severe breakdown of soil structure. Continual passes of the tractor, agricultural machinery and animals have also formed compacted layers below the surface. These soil damaging factors combine to seriously limit plant growth and yields, and erode our precious asset. In the case of compacted layers, water absorption is prevented and root growth is restricted, preventing the plants access to nutrients and moisture. Helpful soil microbes and earthworms are reduced or eliminated because poor soil structure causes pastures to become water logged quicker, dry out faster, and often make tillage operations almost impossible. From then on the team at Agrowplow took on the challenge to bring you the market leading solution for your soil care. Everyday we pursue for the latest innovation in deep ripping. With models featuring our latest, innovative shanks, controlled traffic farming widths, trailing leading design for reduced draft force, level lift design and renowned strength. Eliminate Soil Compaction Soil compaction restricts access to deeper moisture and nutrients causing constraints on yield. With a drying climate and increasingly heavier machinery being used, soil is being packed harder causing additional issues such as non-wetting soils, subsoil acidity and sodicity. The narrow agrowplow shank design is set to work below the compacted soil layer or hard pan to uplift and shatter it without inversion of the soil. Soil particles become aerated without violent separation while allowing greater moisture infiltration into the seed bed. This minimizes soil aggregates and creates conditions ideal for microbial action. Crop roots are then free to pursue moisture and nutrients deep in the soil to maximise plant growth and yield. Retain Moisture The Agrowplow APx1 series allows you to capture winter moisture, move it into the subsoil and eliminate runoff. With heavy rains, see more moisture stored in the ground and less water logging on the surface or runoff into sloughs. Get Roots Deeper. The Agrowplow will produce strong, healthy plant roots, as the roots have access to follow moisture down through the soil profile without hitting the hard pan. Crops withstand a longer dry period, because the moisture from the winter has been banked. With a bigger root mass below the ground, the more foliage and yield above the ground. The Agrowplow AP11 Series plow is a multipurpose linkage unit and is the perfect solution for root bed renovation of pastures, cereals, vineyards, horticultural crops and sugar cane applications. Superior Performance The AP11 may be small in size but still maintains the strength and robustness for which Agrowplow is renowned. The 100x100x6mm RHS frame is heavy duty and designed to produce superior results in tough ploughing conditions. For excellent long term durability the AP11 is finished in a long lasting, high quality two pack paint. Shanks The unique Agrowplow No.8 rigid shear pin shank with its low digging angle is set to produce the best root bed enviroment by uplifting and shattering hard soil pans at depths of up to 350mm (14 ). Without inverting the soil, moisture loss and reduction in soil microbiology is prevented. The narrow shank face also helps reduce the draft force required to pull the plow. and shin guards. Boasting the latest advances in deep ripping, the new model features a heavier frame, working widths of 4.5m and 6m and the most innovative No.9 shank design. Heavy Duty Construction The heavy duty frame is built from 200x200x9mm RHS toolbars and incorporates the Australian hallmarks of quality, reliability, simplicity and robustness. Combined with the No.9 shank, the AP71 series plow is designed to handle heavy trash clearance. Innovative Shanks The AP71 now features the smart No.9 shank. Designed to uplift and shatter hard pans at working depths of up to 450mm or 600mm. the shank works without inverting the soil, which can lead to moisture loss and to a reduction in microbiology. The newest shank is stronger and smarter with innovative features that make it excellent for deep ripping in tough conditions. Not seen on any other brand, the shank has a scissor action design which means that it breaks back in a radial motion to prevent any stubborn to move objects from latching and breaking the shank. Plus it has a full frame height shank extension, exclusive clip on razor back blades and full length shin guards. The shanks have a massive 10,560lb maximum breakout at blade for the standard rigid shear pin shank and 4,070lb maximum breakout at blade for the optional hydraulic recoil shanks. Commonsense Features We ve made depth setting simple. The easy to adjust leveling bar at the front of the plough sets the level of the plough without the need for any unbolting or strenuous readjusting. Plus the AP71 features great maneuverability with 400/ flotation tyres and the optional versatility of either 3 point linkage or trailing. 11 FOREFRONT OF DEEP RIPPING Soil Care and innovation have been the driving forces behind the latest development of the AP91 Agrowplow. Not only has this model been designed to be both stronger and smarter, the farmer will also find that it will make deep ripping simpler and more effective than before. The AP91 features include (i) controlled traffic farming widths of 6m, 9m and 12m; (ii) a fully welded frame that is now even heavier with 200x200x9mm RHS toolbars; (iii) the No.9 shank assembly has been developed with innovative features that make it excellent for deep ripping in tough conditions; (iv) a level lift design; and better still, (iv) a trailing leading tine configuration that will improve the towing capability and reduce ripping costs. Based on Proven Research The superbly construced AP91 features a solid frame built from a 200x200x9mm RHS toolbar with two of the three models featuring folding wings. Combined with the trailing leading tine design and innovative No.9 Shank, the AP91 is expertly designed for a long working life. The trailing leading tine design consist of a single row of shallow leading tines working in-line and ahead at depths of up to 450mm. This then reduces the draft force required by the following tines, set to penetrate at up to 600mm. Tested and proven, the leading tine configuration increases the towing ability and reduces fuel and time costs by reducing the draft force required to pull the plow by up to 18% Innovative Shanks The AP91 now features the smart No.9 shank with tungsten and hard faced No.9 Razorback blades and full length shin guards. 13 A CUT ABOVE THE REST. The Agrowplow Cotton Bed Renovator enables farmers to cut and bury stalks and rebed in just one pass. It helps reduce compaction and saves valuable time, money and fuel. Superior Performance The Cotton Bed Renovator is available in 4m, 6m or 8m working widths with two shank layouts to choose from - the side bust or centre bust model. The Plow features shanks that create wide slots next to each plant row. A fixed knife on each plow cuts the roots and buries them into the slots - increasing the organic matter and nutrients in the furrows. Solid Construction The Cotton Bed Renovator frame is fully welded and constructed from heavy duty 150x150x9mm RHS and features a solid three toolbar frame. Furthermore, for excellent long term durability, the Cotton Bed Renovator is finished in a long lasting, high quality two pack paint. Shanks For shank protection the Cotton Bed Renovator is fitted with heavy duty rigid shear pin shanks as standard. Rigid shear pins are the quickest to change and the cheapest to replace. Plus quick change blades and shin guards with the option to add tungsten and hard facing wear enhancements. Its unique contour following ability provides a superior seedbed finish in all soil conditions The Flexi-Roller is both aggressive enough to shatter clods and break crusting yet is also gentle enough to lightly press the soil after ploughing or drilling. Its actions eliminates the need for individual press wheels or packers. The Flexi-Rollers are available in trailing units from working widths of 2.5m (8 ) up to 6.25m (20 5 ) and linkage units from 6m (20 ) to 12m (40 ).
