11 CONCLUSIONS Mobile based informamon disseminamon system is an effecmve approach for creamng awareness about weather/ crop advisories. This also provide opportunity for individual contact. Specific informamon to focused target groups can be given. The system facilitate creamon of database and knowledge repositories IKSL- IMD collaboramon for disseminamon has farmers in scheduling their field operamon like sowing irrigamon, input applicamon, harvesmng etc. and some Mmes saving the losses on pesmcides, fermlizers, post harvest etc. Impact assessment is an independent area of survey.
