10 Action Taken to Materialise: Other Efforts to Government Sector, CAADP & Development Partners The AFD (French Development Agency) has drawn up a project that takes account of the diverse activities in the rice chain (production, processing, marketing) in response to a request from Senegal. The expected funding will be applied to 2,500 ha in the Senegal River Valley. The World Bank agreed funding for an emergency rehabilitation programme for 7,000 ha of Village Irrigation Scheme in the Senegal River Valley, for 4,180 ha in the Anambée Valley and 200 ha in the southern basins. The BADEA at Dagana (Lampsar Right Bank Project: 1,518 ha; Podor (Ndiawar Project: 430 ha; Matam (Waoundé Project: 600 ha); The KOICA at Dagana (Grande Digue Rehabilitation: 2,500 ha; Podor (Rehabilitation of the Thillé Fanaye PIV: 300 ha).
