1 209 SEED GUIDE BRED FIELD TOUGH

2 BRED FIELD TOUGH Welcome to Allied Genetics. Thank you for taking the first step in finding out more information about Allied Genetics and our products for 209. We appreciate your interest and will work hard to earn your trust. Like you, we strongly value sound advice, reliable and accurate information, and first class products. I truly believe you will find those things at Allied Genetics. Allied Genetics is an independent seed company, serving the Western Corn Belt since From Iowa to Colorado, North Dakota to Texas, and everywhere in between, Allied Genetics has products that will help you achieve your production goals. We believe in selecting the best genetics for your farm first, then aligning your management practices with the trait options that meet those needs. This may seem simple, but all too often this service gets overlooked by those who aim to sell the same product for every occasion. Often I am asked, What makes Allied Genetics products BRED FIELD TOUGH? The answer can be lengthy and you ll find plenty of reasons in the following pages of our 209 Seed Guide. But let me try to keep it simple: At Allied Genetics, we develop and research unique hybrids that can withstand the challenging stresses of the Western Corn Belt, and we do it right here in the region. Stop by our research farm in Manilla, IA, and I will gladly give you a personal tour of one of our many crossing blocks or research trials. At Allied Genetics, we pride ourselves on being knowledgeable, reliable, and personable. Don t hesitate to get in touch with any of our seed professionals to discuss how Allied Genetics can work with you to achieve your production goals. I look forward to visiting with or meeting you. If we don t get a chance to meet in person, I know you will be in good hands. You buy seed from the people you trust, and at Allied Genetics, our people are the reason we are successful. God Bless, Brian Lingle CEO 2

3 HYBRIDS... FOR EVERY FIELD! The team at Allied Genetics has a passion for corn production and it shows in our hybrids. Allied Genetics hybrids are bred to deliver results right where you farm. In the area we serve, we experience heat & drought stress, variable soils that can have ph or salinity issues, and a unique complex of diseases and pests like Goss Wilt and Western Bean Cutworm. Some of these issues can be solved with a combination of the right trait packages or chemical applications, but for many others, the only solution is solid genetics. Allied Genetics hybrids are bred and adapted to withstand these conditions; that s how Allied Genetics is BRED FIELD TOUGH. At Allied Genetics, our hybrid development is based on the core belief that you select genetics first. If the genetics of the product aren t right for your farm, any added traits won t be enough to succeed. That core belief drives our research and development system VIVAMAIZE. The result of our extensive research effort has been a portfolio of hybrids that are ready to perform in your fields. With girthy, flextype ears, many of our hybrids are built to deliver maximum yields at lower populations, helping you manage your input costs and maximize your return on investment. The path to better yields with Allied Genetics is not difficult. We start by helping you choose the right genetics for your farm, supply you with high quality seed for higher germination, and then top it off with a complete seed treatment that features 5 fungicides, seed-applied insecticide, corn nematode protection, and a root stimulant at no additional cost to you. If you reside in the Western Corn Belt, there is an Allied Genetics hybrid for every farm!
