4 4 MASTER ACADEMIC PROGRAMME Internationalization One academic year: 60 ECTS Acquiring new concepts and tools for designing, fabricating, handling, characterizing and applying (nano)materials devices and systems Master academic programme Fundamental subjects (21 ECTS): Nanoscience, Materials and Product and process design What is each area about Research methodology How to conduct experimental research Optional subjects (15 ECTS): Conceptual subjects The principles that explain the new properties Tools and processes subjects Tools and processes to design and obtain nanostructures Materials subjects How to understand and develop nanostructured matter Biotechnology subjects Developing nanotools for biotechnology Master project (24 ECTS): Nearly half the academic year in a university research group or in a chosen company. During the academic course 2014/15 three students will perform the master thesis abroad: NorthEastern University, Boston, USA University of California, Irvine, USA
