Consistent Cleaning with No Brushing. Now, the labor-intensive and time-consuming process of cleaning* is a thing of the past. The EVOTECH System, the first commercially available system for highly automated cleaning, provides healthcare professionals with consistency, efficiency and confidence in endoscope reprocessing. *Does not eliminate bedside precleaning. Manual cleaning of medical devices (endoscopes) is not required prior to placement in the EVOTECH System when selecting those cycles that contain a wash stage.

Dual Independent Basins Two basins give you the ability to run independent cycles for increased efficiency. Specifically designed to facilitate cleaning and prevent pooling under the scope; each basin features a rotating spray arm and a window for viewing the activity in the basin. Printer and Optional Bar Code Scanner The printer provides a complete record of all key information including endoscope, operator, physician and patient data, as well as cycle information process start and end times, MEC status, disinfection time, leak test information, and cycle stage times. The optional bar code scanner allows you to quickly enter endoscope and other information. Endoscope Connection Diagram Information on how to connect an endoscope is shown by a generic endoscope diagram located on the front of the unit. Integrated Monitoring Computer tracking of all critical cycle parameters ensures reliability, consistency and compliance with processing guidelines. AUTOMATED FEATURES FOR CONSISTENCY AND EFFICIENCY The groundbreaking technology and advanced features of the EVOTECH System provide the perfect solution to maximize efficiency and consistency by automating critical process steps in endoscope reprocessing.

Built-In Alcohol Flush The amount of alcohol is customized for each channel, ensuring there is enough alcohol to completely dry the channels of the endoscope, thus preventing growth of bacteria. Individual Pumps Each endoscope channel is connected to a separate pump for proper perfusion based on endoscope make and model, allowing for automatic leak and blockage detection. This ensures the EVOTECH System can maintain positive pressure in the endoscope to avoid fluid invasion and damage to the endoscope during reprocessing. Closed System The system reduces worker exposure to chemicals and delivers CIDEX OPA Concentrate Solution (OPA C) and CIDEZYME GI Enzymatic Detergent Solution automatically ensuring that fresh solution is used every time for every scope. Helical Tube The most delicate and contaminated portion of the endoscopes are housed individually to facilitate cleaning and prevent damage. Hands-Free The lid-opening design foot pedal allows for ergonomic opening of the lid while preventing contamination from gloved hands. Minimum Effective Concentration (MEC) Monitor An onboard MEC monitor assures the amount of CIDEX OPA C Solution in use is correct for each cycle and scope while eliminating the need for test strips, reducing worker exposure to chemicals.

AUTOMATION MEANS CONFIDENCE, FROM START TO FINISH The EVOTECH System offers confidence that endoscope reprocessing is safe, fast, and consistent through a systematic process, including proprietary solutions and computer tracking of all cycle parameters.

EVOTECH SYSTEM STAGE CYCLES Stage 1: Leak Test The endoscope is tested for gross leaks before introducing any liquid. When the system has established that the endoscope is intact, the reprocessing begins. The EVOTECH System maintains positive pressure to protect scopes from damage due to fluid invasion. Stage 2: Pre-Rinse Filtered, bacteria-free water is pumped through each of the endoscope channels using a distinct pump. Stage 3: Wash The CIDEZYME GI Enzymatic Detergent Solution is pumped through the endoscope channels by individual channel pumps and circulated over the surface of the endoscope to remove bioburden and clean the scope without brushes. Stage 4: Rinse CIDEZYME GI Enzymatic Detergent Solution is rinsed from the endoscope surface and channels using filtered water. Stage 5: Disinfect High-level disinfection is achieved by exposing all endoscope channels and external surfaces to a single shot of CIDEX OPA Concentrate Solution (OPA C) Solution. During the disinfection stage, the Minimum Effective Concentration of the disinfectant is automatically measured. Stage 6: Final Rinses Filtered bacteria-free water is pumped through the endoscope channels to remove CIDEX OPA C Solution. Stage 7: Alcohol Flush 70% isopropyl alcohol is flushed through the endoscope channels prior to cycle completion to promote drying. Stage 8: Leak Test A final leak test is repeated prior to the end of the cycle to identify leaks that may have been missed in the manual leak test. Cycle Monitoring Complete monitoring of critical cycle parameters including MEC, block detection, temperature, pressure and time ensures compliance throughout the process.
