1 Source Tracing Event for Outfall 2771 February 10, 2014 Source Tracing Performed by: Glenn Kenobbie (Integrated Science & Engineering) On February 10, 2014 while performing Dry Weather Screening for the City of Duluth, a dry weather flow was discovered at outfall ID 2771 on Stoneham Dr. The water was tested for flow temperature, flow ph, flow conductivity, fluoride, surfactants and fecal coliform. All results were normal and within baseline limits. The field technician investigated the flow up the storm line and discovered a dry section of pipe. In addition, the area had seen a significant amount of rain in the months prior to screening. Between the test results, field investigation, and increase in rainfall, it was determined that the flow was ground water. The outfall will be designated as an outfall expected to have groundwater (OEG) and will remain on the inventory of outfalls. The dry weather outfall screening form and lab results for outfall 2771 has been included on the following pages. Dry Weather Flow at Outfall 2771 Integrated Science & Engineering
