7 What is the difference between Europe PMC and PubMed?

8 Europe PMC PubMed Search through 30 million abstracts (including 24 million from PubMed) and 3 million full text articles in one search Over 4 million patent abstracts NHS clinical guidelines 500,000 Agricola records Chinese Biological abstracts Search through 24 million abstracts Links to 3 million full text articles on PubMed Central

9 Open Access Different funders have different mandates. Some biomedical funders e.g. The Wellcome Trust and MRC require the full text of your published article to be available on Europe PMC within 6 months of the publication date. On Europe PMC open access means articles that you can read and re-use.

10 Open Access on Europe PMC Many publishers will upload articles to Europe PMC automatically, so you can comply with funder mandates Upload your own articles with a Europe PMC Plus account ( plus.europepmc.org/emss/local/help/) More than 900,000 Open Access articles (increasing daily)
