8 February 15, 2019 GEM Environmental P.O. Box 9053 Missoula, MT CLIENT PROJECT: U of M - Cringhead Room 106A + 107A, LAB CODE: T Dear Customer: Enclosed are asbestos analysis results for TEM air samples received at our laboratory on February 15, The samples were analyzed for asbestos using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) per the EPA AHERA Method. The current EPA TEM clearance standard based on five sample average results is 70 structures per square millimeter. The analytical sensitivity for the EPA AHERA method is structures per cubic centimeter. Thank you for your business and we look forward to continuing good relations. Kind Regards, Tianbao Bai, Ph.D., CIH Laboratory Director 730 SE Maynard Road Cary, NC
