4 Infrared therapy The main effect of infrared is the thermal effect on the treatment zone: the heat increases body temperature and this causes the metabolism tissues increase, capillary vasodilatation and muscular relaxation. Infrared therapy is especially suitable for beauty treatments, tissues relaxation and renewal. The diffused heat results as a delightful effect for patient that needs this kind of therapy. Infrared antalgic effect is due to algogenic substances removal from pathological tissues and to contracted muscles relaxation. Infrared therapy is used to cure muscular contractures, cervical and lumbar osteoarthritis and bed sores. Moreover infrared rays are very efficacious as training before kinesitherapy. Bloodstream increase, after vasodilatation, moves in tissues a great quantity of nutritive substances, oxygen, white cells and antibody and makes easier catabolic removal. These biological modifications improve tissues trophism and help tissue damages compensation. Troubleshooting Problem WHF-312 cannot be turned on WHF-312 doesn t give out heat Solution Check connection to domestic plug Check ON/OFF button Check good condition of supply cable Check bulb condition Check bulb has been inserted correctly ATTENTION: in case of damage do not open or repair WHF-312 but contact the manufacturer and/or producer. Warnings Following warnings assure users security and they are given in order to avoid damages and/or lesions. Please read carefully user manual before use WHF-312. Maintenance, carriage and storage INFRARED WHF-312 doesn t need any particular maintenance if it is used according to user manual guides. Carriage precautions INFRARED WHF-312 doesn t need any particular carriage precautions: however we recommend to put away WHF-312 and its accessories after every treatment.
